Chapter 97: The scandal: end 1

It is not beyond Axel's expectations; with every step he took, he drew the attention of those around him. Most of them gossip about his scandal. Ignoring the whispered conversations around him, Axel made his way to his group of friends.

"Do you think provoking Rosa was a wise move, Axel?" John asked as he followed Axel. "Not to mention, you revealed your intentions to her."

"I did it intentionally," Axel admitted.

"Why?" John still doesn't understand Axel's purpose in doing so.

"I wanted to gauge Rosa's reaction before we took action," Axel explained.

"And do you think we got a positive result?" John asked further.

"As you can see, Rosa is quite resolute and adept at withstanding pressure," Axel casually concluded.

"It seems like that could be a hindrance for us in getting Rosa to confess, doesn't it?" John expressed his concern.

"Not exactly." Axel confidently said, "While I may not make Rosa worried enough to reveal any vulnerabilities, I know how to deal with her."
