Chapter 42: Grace knows about the contract between Axel and Daisy

Daisy took a deep breath, slid the key into the lock, gently opened the door, and stepped inside. It was still too early to be 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Henry was at kindergarten, and Grace was at work. Therefore, Daisy could finally rest a bit after her experiences at the G&A store. She consoled herself by thinking that Axel would handle everything just fine and keep her identity completely confidential. However, Daisy was unaware that Grace had witnessed everything that happened at the store.

Entering the house, Daisy was startled to see Grace standing right at the door, her eyes filled with curiosity and concern.
