Chapter 26: Next developments

After finishing her shower, Daisy appeared in the living room. She wanted to spend some time talking to her son, but she couldn't find Henry anywhere; only Grace was getting ready for bed.

"Where is Henry?" Daisy asked gently, slowly making her way towards the sofa.

"I saw him looking sleepy, so I told him to go to bed earlier," Grace replied as she turned off the TV. "He insisted on talking to you before going to sleep. But I told him, You've been working all day and need rest. So, let's leave it for tomorrow."

"Oh, I see. Thank you very much," Daisy said appreciatively.

"You're welcome. Sleep early," Grace encouraged.

"Okay." Daisy nodded. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," Grace replied.

After their conversation, Daisy and Grace left the living room and went to their respective rooms. As Grace stood in front of her bedroom door, she remembered something important.

"Oh, I forgot; you just had a phone call. I didn't have a chance to see who it was before the ringing stopped," Grace informed D
