**Natalie Jackson:**
"Ah!" Amelia cried out like the doll that she was, and Frank rushed up to meet us.
"What did you do to her?" he growled at me as he gently helped Amelia up.
I hadn't even pushed her with force; I had only wanted to drag her out. And because she saw Frank rushing downstairs to meet us, she faked injury.
"Frank, your wife—I mean, Natalie—bit me just now and pushed me away," Amelia said, holding her arm and sobbing as she got up from the floor.
Frank looked at me angrily and spat, "I cannot believe that you would do this to your only sister. You aren't even the legitimate daughter of Mr. Liam, and yet you cannot treat your sister right. Come on, Amy, let’s go out to eat and leave her to eat her food alone."
Tears welled up in my eyes as I stood watching them. It was Saturday, and Frank definitely didn’t go to work on Saturdays or Sundays.
I sobbed, wanting to stop them, and I went outside just in time to see Frank getting into his car after he had helped Amelia close the door—like the gentleman he never was.
"Frank, where are you going?" I asked him as it was already after 7 p.m. and getting late.
My soup was delicious, yet Frank accused me of making it bitter and perhaps even poisoning it.
I sobbed and watched as Frank ordered the security guard to open the gate. Soon, he drove out of our residence—God knows where—with Amelia.
What did I do wrong now? I wondered as I sobbed.
I went back into the house since I couldn’t follow them. Frank had three cars, while I didn’t have any. He had never even offered to drive me in any of his cars before, let alone open the car door for me like a gentleman.
As I returned to the house, I looked at the dining table and the tray of food.
I decided to sit down and eat, as I didn’t want the food to go to waste. I finished my meal, which Frank had intended for Amelia, and I put Frank’s meal in the microwave to warm it so it wouldn't spoil.
I stored the soup in a small pot and covered it before leaving the kitchen and heading back to the dining room to tidy up.
Once I finished cleaning the table, I wiped my eyes, locked the door, and waited for Frank to return.

**Franklin Howard:**
Being married to that local woman was the worst day of my life. I couldn’t believe that she would drug me. It all happened on the day her father was hosting a party to celebrate one of his successful deals, where he had invited my father and some other partners.
That was when I first laid eyes on Natalie. She looked so innocent that I would never have imagined she had drugging me on her mind.
While everyone was enjoying themselves in the party hall, which was the living room where the Jacksons most often welcomed their guests, I had gone ahead to follow Natalie and get to know her. My parents were busy chatting with other families at the event, so I excused myself to follow Natalie.
I had seen her before and knew she was also a daughter of Mr. Liam. Everyone knew the story of how Natalie had come about.
Her mother was a prostitute who wasn’t ready to raise a child, and the rumors had it that her mother had tried to abort her, but Natalie was just stubborn and came out after nine months.
I wanted to speak with her that night to know what kind of person she was.
She was short, with a cute round face and sparkling brown eyes.
She was more beautiful than Amelia then, and I admired her and wanted to get to know her. What irritated me was that Natalie had actually drugged her wine, looking for a hookup that night, just like her mother.
She knew that most of the families who attended her father's party were wealthy, so I was the scapegoat and accepted to drink from her wine.
That was when I awoke and found myself in her bed. We were both naked, and I didn’t know how many hours I had spent in the room with her.
It was when her family came looking for us that they pushed open her room door and caught us together on the bed.
"Natalie! Franklin!" My parents and hers shouted. To cover up our shame, they concluded that Natalie and I must marry, and indeed her sheets had stains, meaning I had slept with her.
I was angry, not wanting to believe Natalie was a cheap woman. I didn’t want to marry her, but my father refused and said I wouldn’t sabotage his friendship with the Jacksons. It was only right that I marry Natalie and pretend that we had been having an affair, which wasn’t the truth.
I couldn’t remember how we slept together, and I didn’t want to sleep with her after we got married. Luckily, Natalie didn’t conceive that night, and now I am planning on divorcing her as I want to be with her sister.
Amelia has class; she's a graduate who speaks fluently, while Natalie is an embarrassment in her own right.
Every time my best friend Michael Austin visits me, I feel embarrassed each time he sees my wife.
I cannot take Natalie to any events with me, and I’m thinking of divorcing her. As a billionaire CEO of H.W. Global, I think it’s best I file for divorce immediately and marry a woman who is of my standard.
If you ask me what I like about Natalie? I don’t think I like anything about her, as she’s no longer beautiful to me. She is only good at cooking, and I will find a replacement for that.
I drove my car to a fancy restaurant, and while I hate to eat out, I had to excuse myself from Natalie to get to know Amelia better.
"I hope your arm isn’t hurting too badly?" I asked Amelia as she claimed Natalie hurt her just when I went indoors to change my clothes.
"No, it’s okay now," Amelia smiled, and I nodded.
"Okay," I smiled back, as it was already getting late, and I drove my car into one of the pricey restaurants around.
"We are here. Let's grab a bite," I told Amelia with a smile, and she smiled back at me. Her face had minimal makeup, which was something I liked about her.
Not too much makeup, yet she was beautiful.
I got out of my car and took Amelia by the hand as I escorted her into the restaurant. We went to the private section, where I sat down and ordered something nice for both of us.
Amelia smiled as her phone rang just as she settled into her chair across from me.
"Hello, Father," she said while I waved to the waiter to come serve us something nice.
"Yes, I want to see Frank and Natalie. They're fine, Dad. Don’t worry; I will be home on time. You don’t have to worry about me," Amelia said, speaking to her father while smiling flirtatiously at me.
"Okay, Dad. I love you too. Take care," Amelia ended the call, and without me asking her, she said, "My dad wanted to know who I went out to see. You know that I don’t have any boyfriend or lover."
"Oh, that’s nice," I said.
As I was about to ask her what she would like to eat, her phone rang again. She answered the call, "Hey, Felix."
"Yeah, I went out with Frank. I will call you back, or I will be home on time," she told him and soon ended the call.
The same went for her two other brothers. They called to check on her, but since I married Natalie, no one usually checks on her either.
"So what would you like for dinner?" I asked Amelia as she blinked her eyelashes and bit her lower pink lip.
"Anything; you choose, Frank," she said, and I smiled at her.
"That’s fine," I said and chose a simple meal, a plate of chicken pepper soup, as I didn’t want us to waste much time so we could head back home.
"So tell me, Frank, how have you been coping with my ugly sister? I knew that if Natalie hadn’t set you up, you and I were supposed to become a pair," Amelia said as our eyes met, her blue shining eyes shimmering in the dimly lit restaurant.
Frank Howard."You're right. We could have gotten married, but it's not too late to divorce your sister now. She doesn't meet my standards, and I don't like her," I said as the waiter brought our dinner, and Amelia smiled sweetly."What about me, Frankie? I've always admired you. Honestly, that night, I felt sad seeing that Natalie drugged you and used you as her pawn to escape from our parents' home. She's just wayward, and I always admired you, hoping we would become a couple," Amelia said, tears gathering in her eyes.I sighed."Don't worry; I will end my marriage with Natalie, okay? She can move on with her life with whomever she pleases. I don't care," I told Amelia, and she smiled sweetly at me."Does that mean you will consider dating me now? I really do love you, Frank?" Amelia asked, looking at me with sincerity. She was truly beautiful, and with her blue eyes shining, I couldn't bring myself to say no to her request.I had always wanted to date her. I used to like her back th
**Franklin Howard:**"Okay," Amelia replied, and we started eating the chicken pepper soup that the waiter had earlier served us.We didn't speak to each other while eating, as the pepper soup was spicy. After finishing, and after a few drinks, I began to feel a light headache, so I smiled at Amelia and told her, "I have to go home now. How about we meet up tomorrow, Sunday, again? Do you go to church?""Um, yes, Frank. But I would like to spend some time with you today. You know, just you and me," Amelia touched my hand, and I quickly withdrew it, understanding what she wanted."No. We cannot do anything silly right now. I'm still married to your sister, and my family isn't aware that I want to divorce her," I told Amelia, starting to sweat despite the air conditioning unit in the private parlor.Amelia frowned and tried to touch me again as she said, "No one would know, Frank. I have always wanted you, and now that I'm back, we will be together, and you will send Natalie away."I wan
Natalie Jackson.I had fallen asleep waiting for my husband, Franklin Howard, to return home after he left the house with Amelia. It was past 10 p.m. When I awoke, I heard loud banging on the door.As I rushed to unlock it, Franklin was back and accusing me of drugging him.I thought he was joking, but he was dead serious, and he started kissing me as he dropped me on the bed, even before my mind could register what he was about to do.Franklin hadn't kissed me for three years since we got married. He didn't even want to acknowledge me as his wife. He only wanted my food, claiming that he didn't like eating food prepared by outsiders as they usually didn't cook it well and often mismanaged ingredients. So he mostly returned home to eat what I prepared for him."Frank, stop!" I tried to push him away as I was breathing heavily. He took me into our main bedroom and continued showering me with kisses. He kissed me so hungrily as if he had been starved of it for so long."Frank..." I was s
**Natalie Jackson**I rushed downstairs to the living room of our enormous mansion and hurried to pick up my phone that I had left on the center table. I unlocked the screen and swiftly called Dr. Famous Joseph. He was our family doctor, and since I married Frank, Dr. Famous had been the one coming to treat me or Frank whenever we fell sick.Frank hardly visited the hospital, so he sometimes invited Dr. Famous over. I was scared of anything happening to my husband. Even though I knew Frank didn't care for me that much, it hadn't reached the point of me wishing him dead. The day was bright and sunny, being Sunday, and the phone call went through."Hello, Doc.""Yes, good morning. Who is this?" Dr. Famous asked, taking me by surprise that he didn't have my phone number stored in his contacts."Doc, I'm Mr. Franklin Howard's wife. Please, there's an emergency at our home. Frank came home last night acting drunk, and I don't know what happened to him. He's unconscious and hasn't woken up.
**Natalie Jackson**Dr. Famous offered me a warm smile as he saw me descend the stairs and approach him. He was sitting on one of our black couches, waiting for my husband and me to arrive."Frank will be with you shortly," I told Dr. Famous, and he smiled back at me.A few moments later, Frank came downstairs with an angry look and stopped to greet Dr. Famous in the living room.Dr. Famous stood up and shook hands with Frank. "Good morning, Mr. Howard."Frank and Dr. Famous exchanged greetings, and Frank replied, "Welcome, Doc.""Your wife already told me what happened, but I would like to perform a few tests on you to understand what truly happened and where you might have been drugged," Dr. Famous said. However, Frank remarked, "You don't have to worry about that, Doc. I will get to the bottom of this matter myself, but I'm feeling a little better now.""Are you sure, Mr. Howard? I would like to draw a sample of your blood to perform a few tests and determine the cause of the proble
**Natalie Jackson**I stood aside, looking from my husband to my sister as Frank asked her if she was alright.“No, Frank! Allow me to go home. Natalie must rot in jail today!” Amelia sobbed, and Frank tried to convince her not to leave our house, but she refused."I’m a model, Frank! Look at what your stupid wife did to me!" Amelia turned her hands for Frank to see the bruises the cane had caused.“She dared to flog me just because I came here to visit you guys.”“Did I invite you? Leave here, you bitch, and go back to our father's house! Aren't you ashamed of yourself for lusting after your sister’s husband? Are we on good terms that you would claim you came here to visit us? Do I need your pathetic apologies?” I barked at Amelia, and her eyes narrowed at me.“You won’t get away with this, Natalie! Get ready to rot in jail!” she cried as she got into her car, shutting the door behind her and leaving.I was satisfied that I had disciplined her as I wondered what she came to my house t
Natalie Jackson. As I walked downstairs and into the living room, Frank was trying to calm Amelia down. He stood beside her, speaking to her. "Calm down, Amy; we can discuss this amicably. It hasn't gotten to the point of you involving the police in this. Didn't you think about my reputation and yours, as no one knows Natalie?"Yes, I wasn't a public figure, but my husband and half-sister were celebrities with millions of followers on their pages."No way, Frank! Don't tell me to calm down. Your wife attacked me, and she has to be punished. Your ex-wife, I mean," Amelia said. My eyes narrowed at her words as I finally descended the stairs and looked at the officers in black uniforms standing in my living room."Good morning, police officers," I greeted the two policemen, who looked at me in disbelief.I was short, but I had an hourglass figure."Good morning, Madam. Are you Natalie Jackson?" one of the policemen asked. I noticed the way his eyes traveled from my head to my toes before
Franklin Howard;I wasn't happy that Amelia would call the police on Natalie. For heaven's sake, Natalie was still my wife, and having her in police custody would drag my name into the public eye. Amelia was a public figure here, and many fans now wanted to know who had harassed her.Amelia had gone to call her father, Mr. Liam Jackson. Additionally, he wasted no time ordering for Natalie to be locked up. His wife supported this and pressed more charges against Natalie, claiming she was evil and always against Amelia. They insisted that this was not the first time she had attacked Amelia, so the officers should ensure they taught her a lesson she wouldn't forget.I couldn't believe that Natalie's father would support Amelia over his own daughter. He didn't even call Natalie or request to speak with her. He just jumped to the conclusion that Natalie was evil and had always hated Amelia, wanting to get rid of her.I was enraged as I drove back home—angry at everything that had happened i
**Natalie's POV**After I finished my bath, I dressed in a red top and black flared skirt, paired with my black sandals. I hurriedly grabbed my debit card and phone, placed them in my purse, and rushed to the market to buy all the ingredients I needed to prepare the delicious meal I wanted to take to the company for my husband. The market wasn't far, and luckily, I got a cab that took me there. I paid for both the ride there and back, returning home on time. I made a pot of yam and eggs since there was still time until lunch break.Franklin had already called me and told me he would be in a meeting when he asked if I was coming to his company. I smiled and told him yes after finishing cooking and seeing his missed calls. I was excited, so I wrapped up my arrangements, feeling eager to go to H.W. Global in my new car. However, since I hadn’t learned how to drive yet, I booked an Uber and recalled that Amelia had given me a birthday present the previous weekend. I hurried back to th
Amelia's POVIt's been 6 weeks plus since I had an affair with Michael. Although I tried to reach out to him, he had blocked my number, clearly not interested in speaking with me.I couldn't forget our intimate night, and I thought of how to get his attention again.I had wanted to use my father, but it didn't work out, and I didn't want my brothers to get mad at me if they found out the truth that I was the one who had flung myself at Michael just because he wanted to get Natalie's number.I tried to reach out to Gloria, but she was totally avoiding me, and I didn't understand why.The last time I came across her salon, she sent me out and embarrassed me.I couldn't understand what I did to her, but I was determined to get her brother whether Gloria liked me or not.I came hovering around Franklin's office, wanting to ask him about Michael's company.Michael had placed tight security on me, not to let me into his house, and I knew he was still interested in Natalie. If Natalie was th
**Franklin Howard**I arrived at H.W. Global at 8 AM and went to my office on the third floor. I received the report for the press meeting that we had at noon, due to my one-month absence from the company.I had completely forgotten that Amelia still worked here, and seeing her hovering around my secretary's door, I frowned as she greeted me, smiling bashfully. I recalled that Natalie had told me Amelia was up to something mischievous, but I didn't care to know."Good morning, CEO Franklin," Amelia greeted me with a wide grin on her pretty fair face. She wore a white shirt, a black skirt, and silver shoes. Her blonde hair was let loose, and she looked beautiful."Morning. What do you want here?" I asked her, not smiling, as my secretary, Ms. Mary Elliott, rose from her chair and greeted me too. "Morning, sir.""Morning, Mary. Prepare the files for all the appointments I have today," I instructed her, noting she was dressed in the same style as Amelia."Okay, sir," Mary settled back
**Natalie’s POV**I woke up the next morning and found myself still in bed. It was a bright Monday morning, and I knew that Franklin was finally going to work. The weekend had been splendid, and he had tried his best to make me feel better. As I carefully crawled out of the vast bed, the sound of water running in the bathroom caught my attention. I knew that Franklin was in there taking a bath, so I went to the closet to grab an outfit to wear. The time was past 7 AM, and my mind wandered back to the events of the weekend—Franklin getting me a new car on our return trip, and the fact that it was my birthday. He confessed his love for me and asked me not to leave him.I decided to stop worrying about anything else, including our inability to have a child. I believe that a child will come to us soon. So I carefully took a nightdress and put it on to go downstairs and prepare my husband’s breakfast like the good wife that I was.As I stepped out of the closet and got dressed, Franklin wa
**Franklin's POV:**Inside Doctor Famous's office, I watched him examine my wife while asking her a few questions. His lab assistant came in and drew her blood into a test tube."When was the last time you saw your menstrual cycle?" he asked her after checking her body."This week," Natalie replied, her head lowered, and Dr. Famous smiled."It's alright. Everything will be fine," he assured her, but her face fell as she watched him finish his physical examination."Doctor, is it possible to be pregnant and menstruating at the same time?" Natalie asked, and he shrugged."In some cases, but it's a rare occurrence. You shouldn't worry about being pregnant, madam. Pregnancy comes on its own," he assured her, typing on his laptop, but Natalie wasn’t happy."Doctor, we should wait for the test report. I just want to find out if I am pregnant," she said, as if being pregnant were the only way to make me love her and not divorce her."You will. How about the last supplements I prescribed to y
**Franklin Howard:**I wasn't pleased with the fact that Michael came to my house the previous night and brought a birthday present for my wife. Although Natalie told me it was nothing and that I should forgive Michael and be friends with him, I couldn't be friendly with a man who lusted after my wife. I was sure many other men in my position wouldn't want to get close to someone who openly gawked at their partner.Wesley arrived with the two women to take care of sweeping and mopping my mansion to make it look neat. It’s not like Natalie wasn't doing that before, but I decided to treat her right. Since I had the money to pay for the househelp, getting someone wasn’t a big deal. However, Natalie chose the two women. They finished sweeping the entire mansion, but when Natalie came to inform me that she wanted to go to the hospital to see Dr. Famous, I decided to follow her."Ma'am, you’re done with your job for today. My wife and I will be going out," I said to one of the two women, na
**Natalie's POV.**It was nighttime, the weather had turned dark, and the estate road was deserted, with only a few passersby. As I stepped out of the gate, I saw Michael standing beside his car—a black car."Hi, good evening," I greeted him as I walked up gently to meet him."Evening, Natalie. Happy birthday to you," he replied, looking genuinely happy to see me as his dark eyes held mine. He wore a crisp white shirt and black trousers, paired with black sandals. He was also holding a white plastic bag as I approached him to accept his gift."I couldn't wait until tomorrow to present this to you. I saw the videos Franklin posted and knew you were back," he said as I reached him and accepted his gift."Thank you, but you shouldn't have stressed about coming here at this hour. It's getting late," I said, knowing the clock had passed 10 PM."I wouldn't mind coming here at 11 PM or midnight to present my gift to you. But I’m glad to see that Franklin is taking good care of you," he said,
**Natalie's POV:**I immediately recoiled from Amelia’s hug, unable to suppress my irritation."Stand back," I said to her, then immediately looked at our father. "Good evening, Dad.""Natalie, how are you doing?" Dad asked, while Amelia frowned and moved back to meet our father."I am fine, Dad. Nice to see you both," I forced out my response, and Dad smiled at me."I am glad to see that Franklin is taking good care of you. It’s actually your birthday, and I told Amelia to join me in seeing you. We brought a present for you too," Dad said, waving over to the white plastic bag he was holding for Amelia to give to me.Amelia marched up to the center table and dropped the bag there. "Happy birthday to you, Natalie," she said, smiling, but I frowned, looking at her.*What does she want that made her look so happy?* I was lost in thought and didn't hear what my father said."Natalie, you should try to calm down so that you can conceive and give your husband children. Getting angry with Am
**Natalie's POV**I jumped up in joy and rushed to unlock the car. "Are you serious, babe? Is this car really for me?" I asked my husband in disbelief, as I couldn't believe my ears."Yes. It's pretty—a brand-new Mercedes Benz GLC. It's all for you, my love," Franklin said, and I was so happy."Oh my goodness!" I rushed to envelope him in a tight, warm hug."Thank you so much, my sweetheart. I wasn't expecting this lovely present," I said to him, and he grinned."You don't have to thank me. Don't worry; I will get you more lovely presents, okay?" Franklin told me as he held me closer and sealed his lips on mine."Can I start the car?" I asked him as a wave of excitement washed over me. I was so happy, yet nervous. I hadn't been to a driving school, but I just wanted to sit my butt in the car and start it."Yes, you can. But don’t drive it. I’m sure you don’t have any driving experience," Franklin said, and I grinned. As I accepted the car key, I opened the car door and sat inside. Fra
