Caroline’s POV:

With George cradled in my arms, I rushed to the bedroom, where I came face to face with a bloody scene. William was sitting up against the dresser, breathing heavily. Along his arms were several gashes of varying lengths and a fairly deep one on his wrist, clearly made by the bloody
