“I've got Ricky's and my food here. It's great you're here. You eat with him, and I'll head back home to have lunch with your uncle," Natalie suggested warmly.

Natalie approached Yohan and gently rested her hand on his forehead. Their eyes met, and Yohan's voice broke the silence, "I heard everything."

Tears glistened in Natalie's eyes, her smile bittersweet. "It's been a while since you spoke! Just hurry up and recover so I can bicker with you again."

Sara's lips curved into a fond smile at the exchange.

Natalie left the room, leaving Sara and Yohan.

Sara carefully served the meal for Yohan, feeling his gaze on her the whole time. She knew it was his favourite pastime, just watching her.

Without a word, they shared the meal. Sara helped him eat. Once they finished, she arranged the blanket around him, her eyes seeking his permission to depart.
