Breaking off

Silas looked at Amber, who is not looking at him. She looked as if she had been crying. While Mr. Rossi looks as if he is ready to break the bones of Silas.

'Something is wrong here. But I have to make Amber trust me. If not, I will not have any future' Silas decided.

"Amber, thank God you are fine. When I didn't find you anywhere in the Dankworth mansion, I got worried" Silas spoke smoothly, as if he meant every word he just spoke.

That made Amber look at him with a hard glare.

"Oh? With how busy you were with f*cking Chelsea, I thought you might have forgotten about me" Amber spoke sarcastically, with hurt and pain lacing her voice.

Silas's eyes became wide with surprise. He had a hunch that she might have seen something. He was not expecting her to speak about it outloud in front of her father.

He immediately rushed to Amber and tried to hold her hand. But she moved back and away from him.

"Don't touch me with the same hands with which you touched her" she snapped.
