As Liam struggled to maintain his composure, his hands clenched into fists, and a faint disgusted look appeared on his face briefly, but he quickly replaced it with a nonchalant expression, not wanting the governor to know that he knew all about him and his associates.

Liam stretched out his arm to the governor for a handshake. "Mr governor, what a surprise to see you here?" He said, faking a smile, but deep down he was suppressing a lot of anger.

The governor shook Liam's hand, shifted his gaze and looked over at Sara, flashed a smile at her, and then he drifted his gaze to Liam. "Nice to run into you Liam." He said happily. "How have you and your sister been doing?" He asked, putting his arm on Liam's shoulder in a friendly manner.

Liam's expression turned slightly colder, as he felt the governor's arm on his shoulder. He hated the governor's fake concern for his family. It disgusted him that this man was asking him about his family's well-being,as if he gave a care in the world.
