Chapter 570

Liam and Elena walked out of the checkup room at the same time. As they darted into the hallway, the slightly cold, sterile air of the clinic pressed down on them once more. Liam’s thoughts were still racing from the news of the baby’s gender. A son. A part of him wanted to be excited at the idea of fatherhood, however another part of him told him there was nothing to be happy about.

After all, it was Elena he was going to share the kid with, and who knows what storm she was going to cause.

At this point, he wasn’t sure how to feel, or how to react.

The reality of becoming a father with someone like Elena was sinking in, and it felt heavier than he’d anticipated. It's not like he had thought of being a dad before, since his life was always occupied with a lot of stuff to ever have the time to think about fatherhood. However, still even in his wildest dreams, he never imagined that he would be having a child with someone like Elena.

He wouldn't mind having a child with someone else
