Upon hearing Amanda, Liam raised his eyebrow, wondering what Erin could be up to. "What's she doing now?" he asked, though he could already guess what she was up to, and the reason why. He had noticed her increasing frustration with his authority to approve or deny what roles she would be getting. And it was something she had openly complained about the previous day when she was in his office.

And it was honestly understandable to Liam that she would be frustrated by him having the authority to approve or not approve what acting roles she got. Her and Liam didn't get along at all for various reasons, and ever since he became the CEO of multiversal studios, she always felt threatened by him having that much authority over her career.
