Liam sat on his bed, listening to the heated argument between Mr. Simpson and Don Salvatore, followed by Salvatore ending their partnership. He felt a sense of happiness wash over him. It was an unexpected turn of events, but it played in his favor. Now, he saw a chance to deal with Don Salvatore without the support of Mr. Simpson. Removing the headphone from his head, Liam rose from the bed, letting out a sigh. He then darted his gaze towards the dresser, where the mysterious and ancient book was. Walking over to the dresser he picked up the book, and walked back to the bed and sat down.
