Mrs Carol couldn't believe the disrespect she was getting from Jason at the moment, and it was all because of Liam. She gave Liam and Jason one last glare, before storming off, with her son and her son's girlfriend trailing closely behind her.

Liam watched with satisfaction as Mrs Carol, her son Henry, and Keisha, her son's girlfriend, left. With them gone, he knew he could finally have some peace now.

The attendees who had been watching the commotion, had disdainful expression's as they looked at Jason and Liam. They couldn't believe Jason would let a rich person like Mrs Carol leave, all for a poor person like Liam. According to them, Mrs Carol had the potential to buy a lot of the things at the auction, while Liam couldn't afford anything. So he was useless compared to Mr Carol Steinfeld.

Liam noticed the disdainful looks, the eyerolls and the mean words that were being thrown his way by the attendees, but he chose to not heed to it and just ignore them. He knew they were giving h
