Liam couldn't believe how shameless the man was, by ordering him to give him half of the the Danvers' consortium. The audacity of Mr. Clark, by demanding that Liam hand over a portion of his family’s consortium was unbelievable. "You're not normal are you?" Liam asked mockingly.

Mr. Clark frowned deeply, "Give me half of your empire, and protect yourself and your sister."

Liam's temper flared, he couldn't believe the old man would resort to such disgusting tactics. “You must be out of your mind if you think we’ll just hand over what’s rightfully ours,” he said, his voice laced with anger.

"Then I'll just take it from you then." Mr Clark threatened.

"You're welcome to try. Just don't end up like your henchman. I forgot his name, what's his name again? Simon?" Liam let out coldly. Liam's sentence about Simon enraged Mr Clark. He was dealt such a huge blow to his crime business when Simon died.
