Chapter 200

The ride to the Denver manor was smooth, but Liam’s mind buzzed with a lot of thoughts. He was worried about what Sheila would do next after her bodyguard failed. Was she going to send ten of her men to kidnap him this time? What was she planning next? He wondered to himself.

Sometime later, Liam arrived at the Danvers' manor. He alighted the Rolls-Royce and made his way inside the manor.

He made his way to his bedroom and grabbed the laptop he used to secretly listen in to Mr. Clark's conversations inside his house. Liam had no idea that Mr. Clark knew that someone had placed listening devices inside his house and removed them.

But even though Mr. Clark had removed the listening devices inside his house, he still hadn't discovered that his phone was also tapped and someone was listening in to his phone calls.

When Liam grabbed his laptop, he headed out to the balcony. There he found Rob, Karen's brother seated.

"Good evening Rob." Liam greeted Rob with a smile, and then he darted h
