James was disappointed to hear Liam's answer. Liam was stubborn and he just hoped his stubbornness wouldn't land him in hot water one day.

"Okay, well, I have to get back to my job now." James said, standing up from his seat.

"Okay." Liam nodded. James bowed slightly and left the restaurant.

Watching as James left the restaurant, Amanda darted her eyes towards Liam. "He was right, you know… there is a reason your parents always wanted you and Megan to have security wherever you went." Amanda said, trying to convince Liam that it was important for him to have protection. She was afraid for his life.

Amanda had known the Danvers for longer than Liam did, and so she knew a lot about them that he didn't know, and also she knew how important it was for a Danvers to have security all the time, they had a lot of enemies. And some of them were influential and wealthy just like them.

But Liam had no intention of having bodyguards. Not any time soon, anyways. "I'm good, without security." He
