I felt very happy about everything that was happening.

I knew Lisa was in her room sulking and I intended to make it up to her later.

But for the time being, I refused to let Mia go. We both laid on my bed, staring at each other while I smiled.

"Why do you look so happy?" She asked.

"Well, isn't it obvious? You're here, so how can't I be happy?" I asked back.

She thought about my words and asked, "Are you saying that during the time we were apart, you were unhappy?"

"Yes. I was extremely miserable," I confessed.

"Each time I would think about you, our moments when we were in college, and all the times we spent together, and I would miss you so badly. I searched for you relentlessly, you have no idea, and you cannot begin to understand the pain my heart felt when I found out that you were with my brother."

She nodded, "I see, but your words sound contradictory. You said you were miserable, but not too miserable to get yourself another girlfriend.
