Tiffany kept calling out Jake's name desperately as she looked around her in fear. She was sweating profusely and her heart kept palpitating as her life flashed before her eyes.

Her arm hurt so much and in no time, her palms became moist. She looked below her and tears gushed out of her eyes as her hand began to slip.

Just when she closed her eyes, someone caught her by the wrist. Her lids flung open as she thought Dass had come to her rescue. However, the face she saw was none other than Jake's.

"It's okay, Tiff. I got you." Jake assured as he pulled her up until she was standing on her feet.

When she was standing in front of him, they stared at each other and she sniffled, "You saved me this time too, Jake. Thank you."

He pulled her into his arms while she broke down in tears, crying loudly. Hugging and stroking her back, he spoke softly, "Do not worry, Tiffany. As long as I'm here, nothing will happen to you. I will make sure of it."
