CAN I GO BACK?

Seeing Jake being hugged by another woman seemed strange to me because I had never seen him get close to another woman before.

I didn't know why I felt angry at him, especially since he hugged the woman back and let her leave without introducing her to me. I wanted to know who she was to him and find out if she was as important to him as I was. Could it be that they were more than friends?

"Let's go," Jake said to me after paying for the ice cream.

We walked out of the parlor and I realized that Jake was overly excited. He could not stop smiling and even began to enjoy his ice cream while we were on the road.

I lost my appetite and dumped my ice cream in a trash can when we passed by one.

"What happened?" Jake who had been lost in his own world suddenly remembered my existence and asked when he saw what I had just done.

"I lost my appetite," I replied. "Can I go back? I feel exhausted.

"Do you want me to back you?" He asked.

I shook my head, "No, the hotel is not far from here
