Chapter 12 - The fortress

2020-11-21 22:57:25In the course of planning, Romeo realizes that something doesn't add up. Their tracker locates Monalisa close but Ken's direction is different. He knows that being at the wrong location will make things worse as it will only give her a heads up of their plan and he wants nothing like that.
According to Ken's explanation, Monalisa's location doesn't permit the network connection. She comes out of her hiding when she has to meet or call someone. Her strategy has made it impossible for the FBI to know her whereabouts. If you track her down somewhere, she will be gone before you get there. That way, it's difficult for anyone to hunt her down. Romeo thinks of what possibly turned Monalisa into a monster. She used to be so innocent and loving but since she eloped with that scambag, she is nothing to write home about.
