Chapter 13 – Trouble

“Cheers!” We all cheered with our drinks, we’re currently at Charlotte’s dad’s bar. We’re currently celebrating our finished schedule for the bra promotion. After the fittings, we went straight here.

“It’s good to have you, Dan.” Nicole winked at him and he chuckled.

“I love working with you girls.” He looked at us with his killer smile.

“I’m proud of you all, remember that we have more fittings to do in the future to prepare our runway.” Ed said and we all cheers again.

“Thankyou Ed.” Jess cheered

“You’re welcome and now let’s enjoy our night.”

“I’m in the mood to dance!” Lexy said.

“Me too.” Nicole stood up and walked out from the private room, Lexy looked at me and pulled me out from the room. The loud music blasting the main dance floor and the vibe was to lit.

“Loosen up girl!” Lexy said as she dragged me to the center of the dance floor.

“Come on Jean, don’t be so stiff.” She chuckled and I started to follow the beat of the music. I started to dance carelessly. It’s been so long since I dance and have fun.

“I want to go to the toilet.” Lexy said and I nodded, she walked away and I started to enjoy the beat again.

I miss being careless and free like this, it’s been so long since I enjoy this kind of freedom. I miss this but I hate it and don’t want this at the same time. This moment made me flashback to the day where everything started to go down the hill.

It made me living in fear every single day of my life. It made me regret everything that happened. Even now, I still can’t be nice to a new strangers. Speaking about strangers, I was nuts last night.

Why did I give my precious jewel to Blake? Why? I was sober at that time not drunk. I can’t blame Blake into this cause he asked for my permission and I let him.

The one thing that I’m scared of is that Blake will throw me away after using me. I thought about this when I was doing my fitting. What if he throw me out? I’m done with life actually, I need a real vacation to go out from this bitter life for awhile.

Today was a disaster, my head was filled with Blake, Blake and Blake. I kept thinking about the bad scenarios that will happen when I face Blake later on.

Suddenly I’ve been dragged by someone to the corner. I looked up to see who it is. My legs got weaker when I saw the person who dragged me. He towered me with his height and looked at me with his signature smirk. He caressed my cheek slowly and held my shoulders.

“Baby, do you miss me?” He asked. My body was shaking in fear and my mind went blank.

“Why are you shaking? You don’t miss me?” He continued and I looked at him in fear. I’m scared that he will kill me this instant.

“Please don’t hurt me.” I begged and my voice came out shaky. He smiled and held me tightly.

“Why would I hurt the love of my life, Jean?” He leaned to me and kissed my neck slowly ttrailing up to my lips. I tried to push him but he’s too strong.

“Will please.” I pushed him harder but he gripped me tighter.

“I was hurt when you didn’t look happy to see me at that restaurant, Jean.” He gave me peck on my lips.

“Will-“ Suddenly someome pushed him and it was Lexy. Lexy quickly pulled my hand and dragged me out from there.

“Jean” Will called with his deep and serious tone.

“Come on.” We ran out from the bar and thank God there’s a cab outside. We quickly hop inside. I was so scared until my body was still shaking to death. He’s a real nightmare to me.

“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have left you there alone.” She held my hand tightly. I nodded weakly and tried to bring my sense back.

“It’s not your fault.” I said to her trying to assure her that I’m okay.

“I’ll tell Nicole to take our bags and thank God I got my phone with me.” She said in a really relieve tone. She took out her phone from her side pocket.

“Lexy, he’s after me again.” I looked at her and she was speechless. She hugged me trying to comfort me.

“You’re safe with Blake, it’s a good thing that you decided to live with him and I’m positive that he already hunt you apartment down.” She said and I sighed.

I don’t know what made me agree to Blake’s stupid proposal. I was nuts when I agree to it but I guess God is helping me now.

“Jean, do you want me to company you inside?” Lexy asked and I looked around. We arrived at Blake’s house already.

“Wait here okay?” I said and I got out from the cab. I walked inside the house and it was empty. Blake was nowhere to be found.

“Blake?” I heard something from the kitchen.

“Jean?” Romina walked out from the kitchen and she smiled.

“Blake is not here yet?” I asked.

“He just left to go to France.” Romina said and I nodded. I walked upstairs to my room and started packing my things. I can’t be alone here tonight. Will might come here.

Blake will throw me away anyway like other girls so before he ask me to leave, I’ll just go first. I packed all my things and walked down. I looked at the house one last time before going out.

“Goodbye, Blake.” I said in a really painful tone.
