Telling my parents about my dream was quite challenging. My mom knew about it all along while my dad was still clueless about it. My dad didn't agree that I will leave Veros for good and go to Medical school.

We fought.

We had been in a cold war for more than a week now. My dad really opposed the idea. My mom tried to talk to him but it was useless. They ended up fighting too.

"So your parents are still mad about you wanting to go to medical school?" Nat asked

"Yeah, they hate the idea"
