But something about the woman's demeanor had made her uneasy. She decided to keep an eye out, just in case. After all, she wanted to make sure everything was okay with her son.

"Aunt?" Kenneth went to his aunt. " What's up? "

"Nothing." Bethany shook her head faking a smile for her nephew. She walked back to the dining table. She smiled at everyone. " I know how you all think I'm crazy for wanting Clive to be back. I know he needs space. That he still needs to grieve his his wife and child's deaths but I can't help but want my son back you know."

She had glass tears on her eyes.

Kenneth was quick to give his aunt a hug. " It's okay aunty. It's okay."

Bethany hugged her nephew back, tears streaming down her face. "It's just so hard." She said, her voice shaking. "To see him so lost and in so much pain. I just want to be able to help him, but I don't know how."
