Chapter 44 Familiar Scent.

Her fever was raising the more. Alexandra could feel it. Every passing second that she stood in the cold atmosphere of the rain; her fever seemed to rise up.

Finally done with paying her respect, she wiped her eyes and bowed.

“Don’t worry about me Mom, Dad, this is nothing. I've made a promise and no matter what, I’m going to carry it out.”

After placing a two finger kiss on the head of the gravestones she bowed for the final time and turned around, but just as she attempted to take a step forward, her vision became hazy and her legs wobbly. Before she knew it, her body had descended to the floor and a sharp pain coursed through her knees.

What perfect fucking luck she had. Out of all the days she just so happened to fall sick before her parents anniversary. As if the day couldn’t get any worse.
