Paige's POV

"I love pancakes!" Naomi giggled and looked at Asher. "It's so delicious, right Asher?"

Asher just looked at her and turned to me. "Mommy, Nate's not eating."

I heaved a sigh. Nate isn't here. He refused to join us here but Tessa brought him food. I don't know what he talked about with his dad, but Noah assured me that everything will be alright.

"Paige, you are Asher's mommy. And then daddy is Asher's daddy too. Why is it so confusing, Paige?" Naomi asked curiously.

I chewed my bottom lip and looked at Achi, who's leaning against the counter while eating pancakes. He's watching and listening to us silently, looking at my reaction.
