The meeting

The following week, Yvonne found herself immersed in a whirlwind of balancing family life, studies, and the intricate task of preparing the children for meeting Rebecca. Micheal had loosened his reservations slightly, though he still held a wary stance. Yvonne sensed his subtle hesitations but also saw that he trusted her instincts, even if he wasn’t yet convinced.
