Aurora's Point Of View

Our eyes clashed like ice and fire like it was going to explode any second. I kept my piercing gaze on his face, trying to resist the temptation to check him out, from the hair on his head to his toes.

"You spent the last five years hiding from me but here you are tonight, at this event, even though you knew I was going to be here." I shivered. His voice was deep and commanding.

I swallowed. "I might want to avoid your whole existence but this was inevitable. I had to come, for work."

"For Ricardo's?" He said the name with a hint of disdain.

"Yes. He's my boss."

"When did you start working for him?"

"About three months now," I replied, completely irritated by his interrogation and by myself too because I was answering his questions.

Eduardo took a step closer, his presence overwhelming. "You are yet for work," his voice dropped dangerously low as he leaned towards my neck. I sucked in a breath and fisted my hand at my sides, unable to move or breathe, "and

Serena's Point Of ViewI was still shocked and frozen. I couldn't believe who I had seen at the gathering after five long years. For hours, I was completely unable to speak to anyone, including Eduardo who appeared calm and unfazed. Did he know about her return? The last time I heard, Aurora was nowhere in the United States. I knew that because she had hired a private investigator of her own but kept it a secret. After three months of searching without getting any positive results, they all concluded she was gone.So now, what the hell was she doing back here? Why did she return? What does she want? The questions kept building up and I couldn't think of any possible answers. It was soon driving her insane.Maybe it was a scene from a dream or a nightmare. Once I'd awaken from and laugh my ass out. But I knew better than to believe that because everything was real. I had seen her and heard her voice. That was more than enough evidence. "You need to have some rest, Serena." When I didn

Aurora's Point Of ViewI knew exactly what he was capable of. The mere thought sent shivers down my spine. "Get lost!"He did the opposite.Like a feather, he slowly and lightly ran his coarse beard over my neck and across my heated cheek, his hot breath making my pulse, respiration, and body temperature jump. What was he doing? And why was my body reacting to him even after five years?I shouldn't allow him to get so close. I should have shoved him away and ordered him out of my house, but I couldn't. Not when my body was burning in flames and he hadn't even touched me."Feels like old times, doesn't it?" he asked, his voice diluted by its unmistakable huskiness.Yes! But I didn't say that out loud. I couldn't lose myself to him again. Never! He licked the sensitive skin on my neck, and I shuddered, stifling a moan. Evander smirked and whispered, "That still turns you on. I can smell your fucking arousal from up here."The cool air in the room created goosebumps that covered my burni

Aurora's Point Of ViewWe ordered another round of drinks but this time, we had fruit punch, not coffee. "You don't know how thankful I am that you are here. I swear my system has forgotten break, lunchtime, rest." I sighed exasperatedly. "I'm starting to think I'm a fucking robot. I don't even have time for myself anymore. I can't remember the last time I looked in a mirror."Julie raised her cup to her mouth and said, "You look good. Tired? Yes, but you look pretty. More beautiful than you were in high school. And bolder." I blushed, "you flatter me." She shook her head, "No girl, you look in charge of your life. Highschool Aurora always had a meek and timid aura but look at you now. You're a beautiful and bold independent woman. Just look at you. Even the big chop suits your new personality." I giggled, brushing my hair with my fingers. "I decided to chop it off and straighten it for it to be more practical. I had no time to maintain my long hair anymore." She shrugged, "It sui

Ricardo's Point Of ViewMy eyes were wide, my mouth agape, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. The news I had just received had left me in a complete state of shock. I felt number and I couldn't quite process what I had just heard. Aurora Williams, my secretary was Eduardo Garcia's wife. How could I not have known? The world around me seemed to blur, and all I could focus on was the pounding of my heart. I felt as though I had been punched in the stomach and it was difficult to catch my breath. As the reality of the situation began to sink in, I felt the first wave of emotion wash over me - a flood of anger, disbelief, and a little bit of fear."Mr. Gomez, please listen to me..."But I wasn't listening. My mind was so crowded and I didn't know what to think or do at the moment. All I could think of was the first day I laid eyes on her. I had sworn she looked familiar but I couldn't place where I knew he from or how I knew her. Now that the truth was out, everything seemed

Eduardo's Point Of View"This place never gets old, does it?" I said as Herald and I walked into his club.We were at CLUB V'R, the biggest and most popular nightclub in the city, owned by Herald. It prided itself on exclusive, invite-only memberships for the world’s wealthiest and most powerful. A good number of members, including Herald, engaged in less than legal activities. We got into the VVIP room where a rare eighteenth-century chessboard sat on top of the thick oak next to two empty crystal tumblers and one full decanter of Glenfiddich 40 Year single malt scotch whisky."Hard to believe you invited me over to beat your ass."He laughed and took off his suit jacket. He handed it to one of his men and sat down. "Don't get too excited, old friend. I might just do more than that."Taking off my suit jacket and rolling up my sleeves, I sat down. "We'll see."The room was quiet, except for the soft clacking of pieces being moved on the chessboard. We were focused intently on the gam

GOMEZ ENTERPRISEAurora's Point Of View "We should celebrate!" Mr. Gomez was beaming with smiles after we closed a deal with two of their top clients who had been thrilled with their proposals. Everything was my idea, and he couldn’t be more thankful for my support and assistance."That can wait, Mr. Gomez. We're not even started yet.""Oh yes, we are. We could grab dinner or do anything you want." When I shook my head in response, he groaned and tried harder. "It's just a normal celebration. If this is all about being alone with me, you can invite everyone else."I sighed and looked up from my computer. "No, it's not that. I'm just concerned about other things.""They can always wait, Miss Williams."I inhaled deeply and looked back at my computer. Of course, I couldn't tell him about my other concerns, which involved my ex-husband constantly plaguing my life. His attention had slowly diverted to the business, and I feared what he would do next. No, fuck that. I was not going to let

Aurora's Point Of ViewIt wasn't a date; I had planned to grit out work but changed my mind. He could believe whatever he wanted to. All I cared about was how he had managed to get into my house once again. How did he even know I had gone out? And what about the housekeeper and the kids?"You have no right to be in here," I snapped."So you've said a couple of times," he replied dryly and sipped his coffee. My eyes darted to the cup, and I gritted my teeth. That was my coffee cup. How dare he?"Now, get out. And never come back again."Eduardo hummed in response but didn't make a move to leave. Instead, he looked around the kitchen until his eyes finally landed on me. His gaze swept the entirety of my body, and his eyes blazed."I deserve to know where you ran off to, leaving the kids behind."I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "It's none of your business. Besides, someone was looking after them.""The nerve of you to leave my kids under the care of a fucking housekeeper," he growled and p

Aurora’s Point of ViewNana's birthday party was a success to say the least. She was so touched and she wouldn't stop saying thank you. Two days passed and things were back to usual. Eduardo called me in the morning to invite me to a coffee shop. He said we needed to talk. I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me what he wanted to talk about. I knew instinctively. The coffee shop was warm and cozy, with the soft hum of chatter and the comforting smell of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. I sat across from Eduardo, stirring my latte absentmindedly, wondering why I felt so restless. We spoke about the usual things—work, the kids, even Nana’s party. The conversation flowed naturally, but I could sense an underlying tension. Eduardo’s expression shifted as he leaned forward, his hands clasped together on the table. “What’s next for us, Aurora?” he asked quietly, his eyes searching mine. I froze, unsure how to respond. “What do you mean?” I asked, stalling for time. He sighed, h

  • Billionaire Alpha's Hidden Twins    Far Gone

Aurora’s Point of ViewThree months had passed, and life had finally settled into a rhythm. My business wasn’t booming like some overnight success story, but it was steady. Profitable. Enough to keep me busy and give me a sense of purpose I hadn’t felt in years. One of the unused rooms in the house had transformed into my work sanctuary. Shelves lined the walls, stocked with packaging supplies, raw materials, and finished products ready for shipment. My desk was cluttered but organized—a system that made sense to me, if no one else.It was fulfilling, but hard. Nana helped as much as she could, but she had her own responsibilities. Julie was swamped with work, and even Eduardo only came by occasionally. As for Ricardo, he’d been gone for a month on a project abroad.I told myself I didn’t think about him much. It was easier that way.But deep down, I missed him. The way he made me laugh when I was too tired to care about anything, how he believed in me even when I doubted myself. The

Aurora's Point Of View I shut the front door behind me, pressing my back against the cool wood as I tried to steady my breathing. My lips tingled, and my heart raced, but not from exertion. Ricardo’s kiss lingered in my mind, and no matter how much I tried to shake it off, the memory wouldn’t leave.“What are you doing, Aurora?” I whispered to myself, running a hand through my hair. The house was eerily quiet without Eloise and Dexter, who were already asleep. I’d hoped for a peaceful evening to focus on my work, but peace was the last thing I felt. I walked into the living room, my gaze landing on the vision board propped against the wall.It was filled with fragments of the life I wanted to build - pictures of smiling families, career aspirations, quotes about strength and independence. All of it was meant to guide me, to remind me of who I was becoming. But now, I felt adrift.***The days blurred into weeks.Between the kids, work on my new venture, and occasional check-ins with

  • Billionaire Alpha's Hidden Twins    A Kiss

Aurora's Point Of ViewThe afternoon stretched lazily into early evening as Ricardo and I worked at his dining table, the space cluttered with sticky notes, sketches of designs, and beads scattered across every available surface. My eyes burned from staring at my notes, and my fingers ached from stringing beads into different patterns. I leaned back in my chair with a groan, stretching my arms above my head. “I’m exhausted,” I admitted, dropping my hands to my lap. “If I see one more bead, I might scream.” Ricardo glanced at me, smirking as he shut his laptop. “You’re calling it quits already? We’re just getting started.” “Ricardo, I’ve been staring at beads for hours,” I shot back, rolling my eyes. “I need a break.” He laughed, leaning back in his chair. “Fine, fine. How about we unwind a little? I’ve got some tequila in the kitchen.” I arched an eyebrow. “Tequila? You’re trying to kill me now?” “Only a little,” he teased, standing up. “I’ll grab the glasses. Stay put.” I got

  • Billionaire Alpha's Hidden Twins    A family Day Out

Aurora's Point Of View It was Dexter’s idea, of course. My son had a way of bringing people together, even when the adults in his life were determined to stay in their separate corners. “You’ve been working too hard, Mom,” he’d said, his voice full of authority for a five-year-old. “We need a day for all of us. Me, Ellie, you, and Dad. And Uncle Ricardo can come too! My friend said her mama and daddy go out together all the time!"At first, I balked at the idea. Spending a whole day with Eduardo, Ricardo, and the kids in the same space? It sounded like a recipe for awkwardness. But Dexter was insistent, and when Eloise chimed in with a quiet, “It could be nice, Mom,” I caved. So, here we were, standing in the middle of the city park on a sunny Saturday, my nerves jangling as Eduardo unloaded a picnic basket from the back of his car. Ricardo stood a few feet away, holding a soccer ball and trying to coax Dexter into teaching him “the rules of football.” “Uncle Ricardo is being emba

Aurora's Point Of View The sun filtered through my window as I sat at my desk, notebook open and pen in hand. The page stared back at me, blank as always. I sighed, resting my chin on my hand. I had been at this for weeks - trying to figure out what I liked, what I wanted, who I was outside of Eduardo and everything else. The buzz of my phone pulled me from my thoughts. I glanced at the screen to see Ricardo’s message: “Morning, explorer. Time for your next adventure. Dress comfy—I’m picking you up in an hour.”I smiled despite myself. Ricardo had a way of dragging me out of my head and into the world. “Where are we going this time?” I texted back. “You’ll see. Trust me.”***An hour later, Ricardo pulled up outside my house, his car as loud and attention-grabbing as his personality. I slid into the passenger seat, eyeing the mischievous grin on his face. “You’re going to love this one,” he said, shifting the car into drive. “Is it another cooking class?” I asked, trying to gu

  • Billionaire Alpha's Hidden Twins    Do I Still love him

The morning sunlight poured softly through the curtains, painting streaks of gold on the walls. I sat on the couch with my coffee, my notebook open on my lap. The pages were a chaotic mix of scribbled ideas, crossed-out plans, and even a few doodles from Eloise. Progress, I told myself, even if it felt painfully slow. The sound of small footsteps echoed down the hallway, pulling me from my thoughts. A second later, Dexter appeared in his pajamas, his hair sticking up like he’d been wrestling with his pillow all night. It was Saturday so I get to spend the whole day with my babies today. “Good morning, Mommy,” he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep as he climbed onto the couch beside me. “Good morning, love.” I kissed his messy curls and set my coffee down. “Where’s Eloise?” I asked, wrapping my arm around his small frame. “She’s still sleeping,” Dexter said, snuggling closer. I smiled, resting my chin lightly on his head. Moments like these felt like an anchor, grounding me in t

Aurora's Point Of ViewRicardo turned sharply when I called out his name, his dark brows raising in surprise. “Yeah?” For a moment, I froze, the weight of my impulsive request catching up to me. My mouth opened, but no words came out. Instead, I stared at him, my mind running wild with the thought of what I had *wanted* to say. “Did you say something?” Ricardo asked, his voice pulling me out of my stupor. He snapped his fingers lightly, a teasing gesture meant to catch my attention. “I...” My voice faltered, and I quickly shook my head. “No, nothing.” He frowned, studying me for a moment as if he could see through my half-hearted denial. “You sure? You looked like you wanted to say something.” I felt my cheeks heat up under his gaze. *I thought I said it out loud,* I realized, my heart pounding at the sheer embarrassment of it all. “No, really,” I insisted, forcing a tight smile. “I was just... Aurora's Point Of ViewThe café was quieter than usual, the muted hum of soft jazz filling the background. I sat by the window, tracing patterns on the condensation that formed on my coffee cup. I’d been staring at Eduardo’s text for hours, my thumb hovering over my phone, unsure of whether I was ready for this conversation. "I’m sorry. I want to talk." His words were simple, but the weight they carried felt suffocating. After much thought and deliberation, I had agreed to meet him. But now, sitting in the quiet of the cafe, I wasn’t sure if I was ready to face him... really face him. I glanced at my wristwatch - thirty minutes past five. He said to meet here at 5.30. The door opened with a soft jingle, and Eduardo stepped in. His eyes scanned the room before locking onto mine. There was a look of hesitation on his face, something I hadn’t seen in a long time. Maybe it was guilt, maybe it was regret... either way, it made my stomach twist. He approached slowly, like he wasn’t sure wh
