Chapter 69 - Start from the beginning

"Stop it, you're hurting me Domenic." I said but he pressed his body onto mine, and I couldn't free myself.

"I thought you didn't want to see me anymore but yet you keep seeking me out." I say in a soft voice trying to maintain eye contact hoping to find a glimpse of the man I thought was still in there.

"I don't want to see you but you insist on staying in Summers life, but I swear if you do anything to hurt her..." Oh, he has some nerve to say this to me, but I don't need to stay here and listen to him.

"Summer is my friend, unlike you she believes in me and nothing you do will change the connection she and I have." I push at his chest making him stumble back.

"Summer is naive, she wants to believe there's goodness in everybody, and that is what people like you take advantage of." He said as he grabbed my hand again.
