Alex POV

"Adam. Baby wake up." I say as I pull out of his arms. The candles had all burned out while we slept and the warm light was now replaced by the sharp sunlight.

"Come back." Adam tries to pull me back in but I wiggle out of his grab.

"No can do. I'm already late for breakfast and I have to get back before mom starts a search party after me." When the right time comes there will be mornings where he will have to beg me to let go of him. Hopefully soon.

"I can drive you." He sits up as I throw his shirt on his chest.

"No, I came here with my own car and that is how I have to get back." Otherwise, they will question me and I will have to lie to them.

"Fine, I'll stop by your place later today after I'm done with work," Adam says as he gets up and pulls me close. "I am going to miss you terribly."
