Chapter 183 - It's the end of a circle

"Are you sure you want to be here?" Dominic asks as we walk over the wet grass and I hold myself by his arm. "I shouldn't have brought you to New York, the doctor said you needed to rest that leg." He says to my limping state.

"I needed to be here, she was a big part of our story and now that part has come to an end. It's the end of a circle." I say as we reach the cemetery where Alice's funeral is being held.

"Yeah, I still can't believe she died. She was finally getting a chance to change, and her mother took that away from her once again." Domenic was shaken by the news when the nurse told us, so was I. Alice saved my baby, she saved Domenic. The reason why I get to have my family by my side is that that is something I will forever be grateful for. It doesn't change the fact that Leo is gone, and without him, his family fell apart. Henry, even tho we did try to help will have to serve his punishment, but I promised I would take care of the twins and his mother just like I promise
