Chapter 137 - That's what this family does best, isn't it?

Miguel jumps at Alice, grabbing her hand while the other guy manages to take the gun from her, ultimately pinning her to the ground.

“Let go of me, I'm not done yet!” Alice yells as she struggles to free herself but to no use as Miguel ties her hand to her back.

“It's over Alice, it's finally over. You won't be able to hurt us ever again.” Domenic says as he preses me to his side and Miguel lifts Alice up.

“Take her to the security room and call the police. She won't escape this time, not on my watch.” Dad says before touching my shoulder, making sure I'm ok.

“He is lying to you, everyone is…” Alice says but Miguel drags her away as the rest of us take a huge breath of relief.

“I think I will make my leave at once. Congratulations on… the wedding.” The judge says, clearly shaken up.

“We will see you out.” Summer says, following him out with Anthony.

“Are you alright? Do you need to sit down?” Alex says as she rushes to me, Adam as well.

"Yes, can someone get me some water, please?" I s
