At that moment, another policeman on the scene caught sight of Triboar lying on the ground, clutching a handgun.

He tensed up abruptly and turned toward Vincent. "Captain Harmon, there's a gun!"

Vincent's demeanor changed instantly. His hand went straight to the gun at his waist as he turned to face Liam. "I advise you not to resist. Come with us quietly to the station!"

The other police officers also tensed up when they heard about the gun, surrounding Liam as if facing a formidable foe.

Liam sighed softly. "Why do things like this keep happening today?"
