CHAPTER 29: Revenge On You

We’re back.

We’re currently having a day out because the kids went on a trip with their grandparents. My mom was the one who wanted to take the kids and Nico didn’t even hesitate a bit.

He wants to get rid of the kids because he’s been stressed at work and he wants to rest. The kids were throwing tantrums this week but Nico promised them to go to the zoo but he has lots of work that he can’t leave.

Usually Nico is the type to keep his words but we have to understand.

The kids were not having it so that’s why my parents took them. I was going to tag along but my dad told me to stay with Nico. He needs emotional support.

I bought lunch and went straight to his office. It’s his lunch break but I doubt that he’s resting. I knocked on his door and walked in. He was on the phone when I got inside. He gestured to me to wait and I nodded. I opened the food for him and waited till he’s done.

“Sorry, babe.” He said as he sat on the sofa beside me.
