Fracture:
Jace I need you.
Jace blinked hearing Nora’s voice come through his head like she had mindlinked him. He stopped in his tracks as he walked towards the training field. He had to have made it up. He desperately wanted her to reach out to him. He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. Part of him felt guilty he had left but he needed to put his pack first right now.
Jace.
It happened again. What was going on he knew this time he wasn't making it up. Could she mindlink him? Was this part of her weird abilities? She wasn't a pack member and she wasn't a wolf. How else would she be able to? This couldn't be real, he thought.
Hello All Thank you so, so much for reading!! If you are enjoying the story please don't forget to leave me a comment, review or gem. I love hearing from you all! Much Love S.E Dymek
Feud:Kip hadn’t heard back from Rose. She was supposed to go and trick Jace’s mate into leaving with her. He had men waiting near the border of the Jace’s territory. Kip paced the floor in front of the control station. A sharp pain ripped through him, sending him forward into the control station. He shook with pain as he felt the bond rip away. He knew that one of his pack members was gone. An overwhelming sadness rippled through him. Kip's wolf howled inside of him feeling lost. Kip felt his wolf’s pain. He knew the minute she took her last breath she was gone. Rose was dead. He pulled himself upright trying to control the shaking feeling rushing through him. Then the sudden rage coursed through his veins. He paced the control room angry. He wasn't attached to her yet but his wolf inside was going crazy that his mate was gone.
Unlucky: Adam sighed as he walked from his car towards Tim’s. Jace had him running around all afternoon. He had what felt like a never ending to do list. He had to train the pack members, then deliver bad news and Rose’s body to her family, and lastly he was fetching some book from Tim’s. He sighed he hadn't even showered yet. He started towards Tim’s when he caught something’s scent. He turned on his heels, his wolf stirring inside of him. He began walking fast towards it. His wolf wanted him to run. Before Adam knew it he went from jogging to running down an alleyway and cutting across a street. He stopped short on the sidewalk of a busy street. Across the way was a small local grocery store. He looked across the way confused as the car sped by. His wolf urged him to go. He didn't understand what he was after. Adam stood watching the cars speed by looking at the grocery store.
Glowing:Nora was asleep, Jace had laid her gently on the bed; make sure she was as comfortable as could be. Logan had followed him in and was standing awkwardly in the middle of the room. Jace sighed heavily.“If you insist on being here, sit down.” Jace growled.Logan didn't say anything but made a noise scoffing at Jace before sitting down on the loveseat across from the bed. He plopped his elbows on his knees resting his chin on his hands, just staring at Nora and Jace.“Well this is going to be wonderful.” Jace said sarcastically as he pulled his phone out of his pocket.“Lori could you bring up some waters and those chips Nora likes.” Jace said into the phone, turning away
Cell phone:“You're late.” Kip growled, greeting the girls. They hung their heads low not answering. Abby was shaking, Kayla was nervously playing with her pinky finger as she kept her gaze on the ground. Sarah just stared at the ground counting numbers in her head trying to keep her cool.“Alpha said you're late. What took so long?” Taylor said his voice was just as threatening.“We had trouble finding some of the items you requested. The owner went looking for them in the back. It took a little bit longer but we got everything. Beta, Alpha.” Sarah said addressing them before, her head still hung low and her gaze staring at the ground.Kip made a noise and then began searching through the
Stolen:Alpha I think Sarah stole my cell phone.Henry had been debating whether to link Kip for a while now, it had been almost two hours since the girls left. He at first thought he misplaced it but then when he couldnt find it he started thinking about Sarah. She had never acted attracted to him. He tried rationizaling it as she was coming into heat but he would have sensed her hormones and wouldn't have been able to control himself.What. The way Kip shot back with anger made Henry cower even though they were not anywhere near each other. She was acting strange early and came on to me. Now my cell phone is gone. Henry responded timidly.Well have your boys meet Taylor and I over at the woman's pack house, things are about to get ugly if this is true. Kip sneered.Yes, Alpha. Henry responded now wishing he would have not said anything.“George and Kyle let go.” Henry yelle
Border:A scream echoed through the phone. Adam pulled the phone away from his ear as he looked down at it briefly. His stomach turning in on himself, he knew who was calling before they even said anything.“Dont fucking touch her.” Adam yelled growling.Another scream rippled through it. Adam’s wolf pushed forward and began to growl, he wanted to kill him.“You shouldn't tell people what to do with their things.” Kip’s voice came through the phone.“Leave her alone.” Adam yelled anger in his voice.“I will. I’ll even let her leave with you but favors don't happen for nothing.” Kip’s sick smile c
Trade:They walked into a small clearing. Nora’s body was vibrating as it sensed danger. She kept telling herself not to give away what she was. Her newly found glowing eyes made her nervous she didn't want it to happen. She didn't want Kip to know she was a secret weapon, regardless of what Jace thought. She gritted her teeth seeing a girl on her knees cradling her very broken hand. Three other girls were off to the side, two of them with tear stained cheeks. Her eyes landed on the man she knew instantly was Kip. His medium length hair pulled back in a ponytail, a sickening victory smile on his face.“So you came!” Kip announced happily.“We didn't have much of a choice.” Nora said glaring at him.“You came w
Gone:Seconds later a swarm of wolves appeared in the clearing. The girls were huddled around Adam’s and Kayla’s bodies. A large gray wolf came rushing over. The wolf nudged Adam fiercely with his nose. Adam’s body moved but nothing happened. The large gray wolf let out a howl and the wolves around them hung their heads. A wolf a little smaller than the gray wolf came hurrying forward, he was white with golden streaks there its fur. Getting to Adam, the wolf shifted back to his human form. The Abby covered Mille’s eyes at the nake man, Sarah watched the man reach down and check Adam’s pulse. She saw his jaw clenched realizing he didn't not have a pulse. He then went to Kayla doing the same. His eyes flashed pain and he locked eyes with Sarah.“What happened?” He said his voice trying to control his anger.
Alpha: “Wait, we can't leave yet.” Nora sighed leaning into Jace, she was exhausted. “The hospital, we need to get rid of it. We don't need anyone following in his footsteps. Also I need to know how a man named Asher helped me. Kip’s pack we need to do something about them. They were innocently bound to follow his order and if they didn't he would hurt people close to them so that they would.” Nora began rambling thinking of everything that needed to be done. Just as Jace was about to answer her and tell him to stop, Grayson walked through the pack house door. He was carrying his Alpha, behind him Asher was limping out. The rest of the Black Sands pack walked out their heads hanging low. Nora scanned the group quickly; the only one that seemed to be hurt was Asher. Her eyes landed on the man being carried. She knew in an instant he was gone. Jace frowned deeply as Grayson carried Chadwick towards them. “They used every last bit of his blood.” Grayson said his voice a combination of
Choose: It was warm, the kind of warmth that you want to curl up into. It was like the warmth from the sun as it kissed your skin. Nora opened her eyes. The world around her was golden. She stood up looking around. She accepted the normal loss in the dark setting but this was different. “Nora.” The same voice as always spoke to her. “Hello?” Nora asked, turning around. “You did it. You saved your friends and your mate.” The voice said. A shimmering sparkling light foamed in the distance as a being emerged from it. A woman with the softest looking silver hair stepped out from it. Her eyes glowed like embers from a fire. She walked like she was floating on air.
Enough: Cole went into overdrive seeing Nora and began trying to push through the Lobo’s. He was fierce, growling, snapping, and biting trying to get through. The pause didn't last long, as soon as Cole lost it, the pack picked up his anger and went into a fierce attack mode. Logan began firing arrows into the Lobo’s that were blocking Cole’s way. Kip was grinning, watching as if he had something manically waiting for him. The Lobo’s were falling over from the wolf’s bane. Cole was getting close. Nora watched her friends fighting. She locked eyes with Cole, he was so injured, his black fur looked wet from the blood coming from his wounds. Her heart aching seeing his pain. She felt a Lobo come up and grab her shoulders forcing her to her knees. She could feel her power building, she needed this to stop. She needed t
Battle: Cole collided into one of the Lobo using his body to take out his legs. They stood tall like people on their back legs. The Lobo fell over, Cole jumped on its throat trying to end it quickly. To his left he saw Noah doing battle with another one. A whimper echoed around them and he saw Noah become distracted. A Lobo flung Lilliana into a tree. The Lobo Noah was fighting went to chomp down on his throat. Cole lunged at the Lobo he was attacking and hit the Lobo going after Noah. The Lobo fell off to the side on impact as Cole saved Noah. Noah watched Cole tackle the Lobo, his eyes flickering to Lilliana who still hasn't gotten up off the ground and the Lobo who threw her was approaching her. Cole nodded to Noah telling him to go. Noah nodded back and rushed to Lilliana, skidding in front of her he stared the Lobo down growling showing his teeth. The Lobo smiled before starting
Almost There: Kip walked past the control center glancing at the monitors. He growled angrily, grabbing a hold of the desk and squeezing. The desk began to crack underneath his hands. He watched Jace’s pack run past members of his. They kneeled down and bowed their heads as they ran past. No one was showing resistance. He growled loudly, beginning to huff and puff at the monitors. His eyes glowed red as he continued to glare at the monitors. His eyes glossed over as he attempted to command them. As your Alpha I command all pack members to stop the intruders now. He sent out a painful mind link. Nora watched as the pack members of Kip’s began to shake and shiver as they tried to resist the commands. She could tell they were in pain. Then suddenly it started from the left side, a calmi
Hold on: We’re almost there, hold on Nora. Jace’s voice whispered into her mind. She didn't know if she had made it up but something in her told it was real. She needed to stall him from trying to turn her. “Why kill a home family?” Nora said, angry. “Why not.” Kip shrugged. “So you like killing.” She said, trying to move out of her straps. “Like isn't the right word. Love isn't even the right word. I crave it. Humans are easy prey. They are worthless and honestly they do nothing for this world. They are weak and bottom feeders. Hunters, now hunters. They are fun to kill. They fight and they fight hard. It’s actually a challenge to fight them. It's exhilarating. You k
The one that got away: Nora followed Kip down the long hall. She kept her eyes focused on her surroundings but didn't try looking into any of the rooms. She didn't want to see any more horrors. Kip glanced over his shoulder and noticed Nora’s discomfort and began hitting the buttons on the wall as he passed them. The dark gray wall became clear as Nora walked by each one. Each room held the same horror but different stage. Somewhere just starting to shift, some didn't make it and laid dead on the floor. The nurse in the room looked relieved. Others were the Lobo standing over the person nurse’s dead body. “Why don’t you let the nurses out?” Nora asked as they passed by another room. “At first it was because I didn't care, I wanted to see what my creation would do. Now it's more of a fear cont
Can’t:Nora stepped out into the hall, it was cold. The walls, ceiling and floor were all white. She looked to Asher and he nodded for her to go left. She walked down the hall slowly. Part of it was because it was aerie with the random screaming, the other part was because she was trying to make sure she remembered everything. Walking past the first room, the sound of soft crying was heard. Asher saw her interested and he tapped lightly on the glass of the door. The small shade pulled up, the person inside stepped aside and Asher moved to the right moving out of the way.“Go take a look.” Asher said no emotion in the comment.Nora stepped up to the door. Looking inside was a medical room, there was a girl strapped to a chain in the center, the kind you would see at a dentist. Tears stained he
Move out:She could hear screaming and shouting from the rooms down the hall. Nora sat up the metal from the cuff causing her pain. She didn't know she was this much of a weakling. The man sitting across the way from her didnt even act like he heard the screaming. She looked at him like he was crazy. She slowly got to her feet and began moving across the room.“Where are you going?” He asked her, annoyed.“Obviously not far.” She said, rolling her eyes at her and holding up her hands. She went to the door and he got up like he accepted her to bolt. He went up behind her incase he needed to grab her. She ignored him standing on her tippy toes trying to see out the tiny window in the door.“W
