Tour:
Jace leaned against the wall of a store that was on the corner of Jefferson and main. His eyes shut as he focused on his breathing. He was trying to calm down Cole who was crawling beneath his skin, The car screeched ignorant of him. Dante always drove too fast and even faster when he thought something was wrong. Jace sighed, pulling open the passenger side door. Jace sat down in the car like he was carrying the weight of the world.
“Hey you alright?” Dante said, pulling the car away from the sidewalk.
“I'm fine. Just take us there.” Jace said, rubbing his forehead.
“What were you doing in town?” Dante asked curiously.
“Wrapping up a few things.&rdquo
Training: Soft cries across the hall and crept under his doorway. Logan sat up in bed trying to figure out what he was hearing. Was someone hurt? He got up quickly not bothering to throw a shirt on and opened his bedroom door. He heard the soft muffled cries again. It registered that they were coming from Nora’s room. He crossed the hall and knocked on the door. He waited a few seconds and when no answer came he debated opening the door. Then a sound like someone was in trouble came out from under the door. He opened the door. “Nora?” He called into the dark. She didn't answer and he ventured into her room. She was tossing and turning in her bed. Tears leaking out of her eyes. She was acting like she was in pain. Logan walked over and shook her lightly.
Pizza:Nora got into her car as she sat back and she winced. Her back hurt like hell. All she could think of was how badly she wanted a hot shower. She turned her car on and took off towards her house. She fumbled around looking for cell phone. Finding it she dialed Joel.“Hi-“For the love of everything, where the hell have you been?” Joel started as soon as he answered the phone.“Um, it's a long story. Lunch?” Nora asked, hoping he didn't go on his rampage right now.“Long story, Nora, I swear you will be the reason I don't have children. Where and when for lunch?”Joel asked if she could hear him rolling his eyes at her.“About an
Close call:Joel flung the car door open and jumped into the passenger seat. You could hear the wolf's nails scrape across the pavement as it came barreling after them. Joel shut the car door just in time. The wolf smashed into the car. It began clawing and scratching at the glass.“Go fucking go!” Joel screamed as he leaned away from the door.Nora slammed the car into reserve and backed the car up. The wolf was biting at the car trying to stay with it. Nora threw the car into drive and peeled out. The wolf was fast staying with the car the whole length of the parking lot. It kept slamming itself into the side of the car. The car rocked each time the wolf did. Nora punched the gas trying to get a head of the wolf as they neared th
Wounded: The kitchen was huge with two stoves. She always thought her parents' kitchen was enormous but this was bigger. A large table was set off to the side. Dylan stopped ringing the bell as people piled in. They all quickly found their seats waiting for dinner. Logan walked over to the table pulling out a seat next to him motion for Nora to come sit. Kat made a stupid noise from the other end of the table but Nora ignored it. She was sitting between Lily and Logan as well as across from Mina. Dylan was running around the kitchen getting the plates together. He then quickly began passing them out. The plate was sat down in front of Nora, shepherd pie. She smiled at it, she hadnt had it in so long. "What the hell happened to your car?" Mina asked her, looking at her strangely. "Oh I was attacked by
Mate?:Jace didn't let anyone touch her. He nearly kicked in the door of his house as he rushed in. He with one arm knocked everything off the dining room table as he gently laid her on it. Wyatt had gone to get medical supplies while Dante was trying to find a way to stop Jace from panicking. The anger rolling off of him was making Dante’s wolf nervous. Dante stepped forward and gently nudged Jace. Jace snapped around like he was ready to fight. Seeing Dante holding out pants to him he calmed down. He snatched the pants from him and pulled them. Dante wanted to ask what happened but he didn't want to send his Alpha over the edge.“I don't know why she did that, what was she thinking?” Jace said, holding pressure on her wound with one hand and brushed her hair out of her face.“
Bubbles:Nora winced as she sleepaly attempting to turn. She hurt, she recognized the throbbing pain in her shoulder but her mind didn't care. She opened her eyes as she tried to pull away. She found herself looking up at Jace. He was sitting up right against the headboard of his bed, arms wrapped around her cradling her. She was trying to figure out what had happened but her brain ws to foggy. She looked at his face while studying it. Her eyes travel from his deep set eyes to the perfect bridge of his nose. He had the most kissable lips. She reached up, staring at his perfect jawline. His eyes were shut, she listened to his soft breathing and smiled. She reached up and ran her finger under his chin. She could feel the stubble starting to grow there. She chuckled as it tickled her finger. A smile formed on his lips. Nora realized he was awake and frozzed. She then noticed all of the blood on his bare chest. She reached out, touching it, searchi
Caught:Hunter. Dante mindlinked Jace. What? Jace, who was in the kitchen, responded. There’s a hunter on the premises. Dante said you could feel the rage through the mindlink.No. stand down. Jace said his first thought was going to Nora, his stomach twisting. It’s in the pack house. Dante said before cutting the mindlink.Nora sighed waiting. She wanted to get up and move but she still felt woozy. She stared at the room, it was plain. No pictures or warmth in it. He seemed like he was all business all the time. Even his room seemed like it. She was debating on what she was doing here when the door was pu
Past:Kip sat outside the Black Sand territory waiting for his cue; it wouldn't be long now. His pack had surrounded the territory they didn't have enough warriors or men to really fight. The Alpha would either surrender or be taken by force. He would slaughter his pack members until one or the other happened. He waited until nightfall and just as the stars peeked out; Kip sent the signal.Screams erupted as his pack moved in. Targeting homes, pulling people from their homes. The ones that fought back were instantly killed. Some of his wolves were setting houses on fire. It was pure chaos and war fair. Kip sat back watching it all like he was watching a movie with pure joy on his face. The screams, the smell of smoke and blood; all of it sent him into bliss. Twenty minutes. That's all it took. Twenty minutes of attempting to defend themself and it was all
Alpha: “Wait, we can't leave yet.” Nora sighed leaning into Jace, she was exhausted. “The hospital, we need to get rid of it. We don't need anyone following in his footsteps. Also I need to know how a man named Asher helped me. Kip’s pack we need to do something about them. They were innocently bound to follow his order and if they didn't he would hurt people close to them so that they would.” Nora began rambling thinking of everything that needed to be done. Just as Jace was about to answer her and tell him to stop, Grayson walked through the pack house door. He was carrying his Alpha, behind him Asher was limping out. The rest of the Black Sands pack walked out their heads hanging low. Nora scanned the group quickly; the only one that seemed to be hurt was Asher. Her eyes landed on the man being carried. She knew in an instant he was gone. Jace frowned deeply as Grayson carried Chadwick towards them. “They used every last bit of his blood.” Grayson said his voice a combination of
Choose: It was warm, the kind of warmth that you want to curl up into. It was like the warmth from the sun as it kissed your skin. Nora opened her eyes. The world around her was golden. She stood up looking around. She accepted the normal loss in the dark setting but this was different. “Nora.” The same voice as always spoke to her. “Hello?” Nora asked, turning around. “You did it. You saved your friends and your mate.” The voice said. A shimmering sparkling light foamed in the distance as a being emerged from it. A woman with the softest looking silver hair stepped out from it. Her eyes glowed like embers from a fire. She walked like she was floating on air.
Enough: Cole went into overdrive seeing Nora and began trying to push through the Lobo’s. He was fierce, growling, snapping, and biting trying to get through. The pause didn't last long, as soon as Cole lost it, the pack picked up his anger and went into a fierce attack mode. Logan began firing arrows into the Lobo’s that were blocking Cole’s way. Kip was grinning, watching as if he had something manically waiting for him. The Lobo’s were falling over from the wolf’s bane. Cole was getting close. Nora watched her friends fighting. She locked eyes with Cole, he was so injured, his black fur looked wet from the blood coming from his wounds. Her heart aching seeing his pain. She felt a Lobo come up and grab her shoulders forcing her to her knees. She could feel her power building, she needed this to stop. She needed t
Battle: Cole collided into one of the Lobo using his body to take out his legs. They stood tall like people on their back legs. The Lobo fell over, Cole jumped on its throat trying to end it quickly. To his left he saw Noah doing battle with another one. A whimper echoed around them and he saw Noah become distracted. A Lobo flung Lilliana into a tree. The Lobo Noah was fighting went to chomp down on his throat. Cole lunged at the Lobo he was attacking and hit the Lobo going after Noah. The Lobo fell off to the side on impact as Cole saved Noah. Noah watched Cole tackle the Lobo, his eyes flickering to Lilliana who still hasn't gotten up off the ground and the Lobo who threw her was approaching her. Cole nodded to Noah telling him to go. Noah nodded back and rushed to Lilliana, skidding in front of her he stared the Lobo down growling showing his teeth. The Lobo smiled before starting
Almost There: Kip walked past the control center glancing at the monitors. He growled angrily, grabbing a hold of the desk and squeezing. The desk began to crack underneath his hands. He watched Jace’s pack run past members of his. They kneeled down and bowed their heads as they ran past. No one was showing resistance. He growled loudly, beginning to huff and puff at the monitors. His eyes glowed red as he continued to glare at the monitors. His eyes glossed over as he attempted to command them. As your Alpha I command all pack members to stop the intruders now. He sent out a painful mind link. Nora watched as the pack members of Kip’s began to shake and shiver as they tried to resist the commands. She could tell they were in pain. Then suddenly it started from the left side, a calmi
Hold on: We’re almost there, hold on Nora. Jace’s voice whispered into her mind. She didn't know if she had made it up but something in her told it was real. She needed to stall him from trying to turn her. “Why kill a home family?” Nora said, angry. “Why not.” Kip shrugged. “So you like killing.” She said, trying to move out of her straps. “Like isn't the right word. Love isn't even the right word. I crave it. Humans are easy prey. They are worthless and honestly they do nothing for this world. They are weak and bottom feeders. Hunters, now hunters. They are fun to kill. They fight and they fight hard. It’s actually a challenge to fight them. It's exhilarating. You k
The one that got away: Nora followed Kip down the long hall. She kept her eyes focused on her surroundings but didn't try looking into any of the rooms. She didn't want to see any more horrors. Kip glanced over his shoulder and noticed Nora’s discomfort and began hitting the buttons on the wall as he passed them. The dark gray wall became clear as Nora walked by each one. Each room held the same horror but different stage. Somewhere just starting to shift, some didn't make it and laid dead on the floor. The nurse in the room looked relieved. Others were the Lobo standing over the person nurse’s dead body. “Why don’t you let the nurses out?” Nora asked as they passed by another room. “At first it was because I didn't care, I wanted to see what my creation would do. Now it's more of a fear cont
Can’t:Nora stepped out into the hall, it was cold. The walls, ceiling and floor were all white. She looked to Asher and he nodded for her to go left. She walked down the hall slowly. Part of it was because it was aerie with the random screaming, the other part was because she was trying to make sure she remembered everything. Walking past the first room, the sound of soft crying was heard. Asher saw her interested and he tapped lightly on the glass of the door. The small shade pulled up, the person inside stepped aside and Asher moved to the right moving out of the way.“Go take a look.” Asher said no emotion in the comment.Nora stepped up to the door. Looking inside was a medical room, there was a girl strapped to a chain in the center, the kind you would see at a dentist. Tears stained he
Move out:She could hear screaming and shouting from the rooms down the hall. Nora sat up the metal from the cuff causing her pain. She didn't know she was this much of a weakling. The man sitting across the way from her didnt even act like he heard the screaming. She looked at him like he was crazy. She slowly got to her feet and began moving across the room.“Where are you going?” He asked her, annoyed.“Obviously not far.” She said, rolling her eyes at her and holding up her hands. She went to the door and he got up like he accepted her to bolt. He went up behind her incase he needed to grab her. She ignored him standing on her tippy toes trying to see out the tiny window in the door.“W
