Elena's POV
"NO!"
I yelled, struggled to free myself, and abruptly woke up from a bad dream, sitting on the bed immediately, I started panting heavily. The heart in my chest was drumming very loud and my forehead was dripping with sweat.
I breathed heavily and thanked God when I realized that it was just a dream.
Wiping the sweat from the back of my palm, I scanned the area. The darkness in the room tripled my fear. Stepping down, I moved towards the window and opened it to allow the moonlight and fresh air to fill the room.
It is only one hour of me retiring to bed and I already had a nightmare. From the day I have come to know that Xaphan is now out of our reach my restlessness has increased. I am having more nightmares because my brain has started thinking negatively about the future.
