Sofia’s POV I allowed my eyes to slide open after a little while and I started to absent mindedly move my feet a little, loving how cute my feet looked at this very moment, as it looked all clad in a pair of pop socks and a pair of sandals coupled with some really thin straps. I puffed out a deep breath and dragged in another one in the very next second, the fact that I was planning to start the whole painting thing today, even though I knew perfectly well that I hadn’t started to watch any kind of tutorial video relating to painting yet.I knew that I could just start watching one of those videos right now, since it wasn’t like I was actually doing a single thing at this very moment, but I still wasn’t feeling really up for it.Perhaps I’d start to watch them after I have gotten some food into my stomach as well as all of my drugs. And if I end up setting up the whole place where I’d be painting in, I might just not start a thing yet if time have already gone too much in today, and
Luca’s POV I washed my hands for the uptenth time today beneath the cold water of the tap in the kitchen and moped my hands on the towel hanging off the hook on the top of the wall before turning around and existing the empty kitchen, heading straight into the sitting room, all the while, my fingers were absentmindedly playing against the edge of my skirt as I stepped into the sitting room and headed straight for one of the windows in the sitting room. I moved my eyes towards the wall to eye the huge clock hanging off the wall. It was recently past one in the afternoon and I knew I needed to find the guards and get whatever it was that Luca had relayed to them, because I was just sure that he had left me a message for them. I placed my phone on the couch which was closest to me at the moment and turned around to place my hands against the curtains, using my barely firm grip to flutter the curtains around a little, dragging in deep breaths into my lungs as the cold air or the sittin
Sofia’s POV “Ma’am?” She echoed as she turned her head until she was staring at me. I breathed out an exasperated sigh and resisted the urge to throw my arms around as I started to speak almost immediately. “It’s Sofia, and not ma’am.” I said to her firstly, watching as she stared at me confusingly for a few moments before realization started to cross her face in the next moment.“Oh, I’m sorry ma’am, I mean Sofia.” She breathed out and I huffed out another slow breath, feeling tired because no matter all what I had said to Matilda about me preferring if I was being referred to as Sofia, and not ma’am or Mrs Ricci, like they had wanted to start referring to me as, immediately they sighted me, the very next day after I had gotten married.Although Sarah barely refer to me as ma’am or Mrs Ricci which I was really pleased with, Matilda’s case was quite different. She was always referring to me as either ma’am or Mrs Ricci every blessed day, and of course, I’d proceed to correct her and
Sofia’s POV “Good afternoon, Mrs Ricci.” They both echoed out at the same time and I nodded my head once before finally starting to speak. “Hello Ethan, and Ryan.” I breathed out and stared into the slight gap between both of their shoulders, refusing to meet their eyes as I continued.“Good afternoon, how have your been today?” I echoed out and watched as Ethan barely acted like he had heard what I had said, and Ryan had shrugged his right shoulder a little and that was it.“Anyways, I wanted to ask you guys if Luca left me a message with you guys.” I said to them and finally dragged my eyes upwards and settled my eyes on both of them at the same time, refusing to dwell too much on Ryan’s face because it felt like he and I shared a certain secret which no one else knew about and the thought alone was making me feel so type of way, which was why I was completely avoiding to stare into his face as much as I can.“Oh, a message?” Ethan breathed out and I nodded my head once, with my h
Sofia’s POV I shook my head to get the thoughts which were currently swimming around my head, out of my mind as I stared up into both guards direction and started to speak, feeling my fingers draw weird shapes on my exposed waist since my hands were still wrapped around my waist in a tight hold.I moved a little in my current spot, refusing the urge to take a few steps backwards until my back was pressed against the wall– not because I was feeling crowded, overwhelmed or whatnot, but because my knees were starting to hurt and I didn’t feel like standing and resting my weight on my knees anymore at this very moment.“So um, did he show you guys where the room is located and which particular room it was going to be in?” I asked and watched as Ethan nodded his head once before he started to speak, “Yes ma’am, he did.” Ethan replied before pointing down the hall, to the left corner before he continued. “It’s just down the hall, a few doors down.” Ethan said and I felt my heart start to
Sofia’s POV I took a step back and watched as both men carefully carried in all the stuff which we got from the mall yesterday, and as I watched them align the stuff beside one another, it was making me realize just how plentiful the stuff was. I chewed on my lips a little with my back resting against the wall as I watched silently and some minutes later, they started carrying in the big boards and drawing canvas and other bigger stuff. I allowed my eyes to wander around the room, a motion which I had been repeating over and over again, each time both men exited the room to go carry some more stuff, leaving me alone in the room. The room was large. When I say it was large, I meant it was more spacious than I ever expected. Heck, I didn’t even expect Luca to agree to me painting in the first place, and after he did, I decided to try my luck further by requesting a room which I’d be using for my painting stuff, all to myself, and unexpectedly, he had agreed instantly. Of course, I ha
Sofia’s POV “Huh?” I said as I got to my full height and had turned my head around until I was staring at him. He gestured at the stuff which I had been about to pick up, moments ago before starting to speak. “Mr Ricci issue you are not to touch a thing in here when we’d start to all put the stuffs away, he said all you have to do and all you’re supposed to do, is to stand back and point and also gesture to whichever parts are sides you want each particular stuffs to be placed in.” He said and shrugged his shoulders a little before continuing. “The boss' orders not mine.” He breathed out and I realized that I had started to scowl at him without even realizing it.I nodded my head once, not wanting to put him into trouble, and I took a step away from the front of the whole pile of stuff, and then I placed my hands around my stomach once again.“Fine.” I huffed out without thinking and when both men continued to stare at me without saying a thing, I realized that I had literally sound
Sofia’s POV I walked deeper into the frozen room which was located in the kitchen and you’d have to take a door into the kitchen before making your way into it. I shivered a little as I walked further into the room, because like the nsme entails, it really is frozen and gosh, it was really cold.Once I sighted what I came in here to get, I stopped before the rack which held up bags and bags of chips, the types which could get frozen without it getting to ruin the chips. I picked up a small looking bag because I knew myself and I knew I was going to get real bored of it after eating a few handfuls. But my gosh, it’s been really long since I’ve last eaten any kind of thing relating to junks ever since I got married to Luca, to think I use to get a lot of those back at home, it was also the fulll and complete courtesy of my younger brother that my love for Junks increased really well.I cradled the bag of chips and pressed it against my exposed skin on my stomach, feelimg the goosebump
