Chapter 101 Like a hypocrite

The running sounds of water from the bathroom weren't the only thing that woke Aria up. She had been awake for a while now, and Erika had been busy arranging and cleaning things around the room. The noise she made was enough to wake Aria up even though Erika thought that Aria was still sleeping.

Erika was back. she was preparing hot, scented water for Aria to bathe with but Aria still didn't know how to face Erika.

She got up from the bed without bothering to pretend like she had just woken up because Erika was in the bathroom.

"You finally decided to leave the bed, my lady." Erika came out of the bathroom. "I was about to come and tell you that I know that you aren't sleeping."

There wasn't any dark circle around Erika's eyes. Her eyes were bright, she didn't look like someone who had spent the night crying over a lover. It hadn't even been up to a week since beta Brian left. How was Erika so okay?
