LEAH'S POV

“By the end of next month, our plan should be active and done. I wanna get out of here as soon as possible.” Max said as I chuckled. “Everyone wants a break but we've got a job and we ain't going anywhere till we're done.

“Of course you're the boss.” He said with a roll of his eyes.

“So__” just then, my phone rang and a smile covered my face. This morning, Max had gone to Allysa's place on purpose to know what she's up to and she seemed to trust him more than ever.

I picked the phone and placed it on my ear. “Speak.” I ordered.

“It's me Nora, everything is going as planned already, I didn't need to do much work.” She said as I furrowed my brows. “What do you mean?”

“The little girl fainted and she's currently in the hospital waiting for the transfusion to be done.”

“Good. I don't care how you wanna do it, that child must not make it out of that place alive. Allysa must know what pain feels like.” I heard Max laugh out but I wasn't in the mood to banter with him
