Chapter 105: Evidence Gotten

LEAH'S POV

“I should know the lady I'd love to take as my girlfriend and intended wife, don't you think?” He asked and I smiled.

I guess my mom was right about what she said, they must be suspicious about me and of course they'll try to find out everything they can from me.

I needed to act fast and smart so I smiled and picked my fork up.

“Ummm where do I start from? My childhood was so nice you know coming from a rich family,one whose influence on the society was vital for it's growth. I was groomed to become the perfect daughter of course I have a brother and he shoulders all the responsibilities.” The lie came out so smoothly and I was really glad about it.

“You have a brother, hmm must have been nice having a younger brother, a sibling to share your pain and joy with.” I smiled, looking dreamily at the sky.

“We had our differences but it was worth it, that's what siblings do, that's why we stand for each other even in trying times.” He nodded and poured more drink into my cup.
