ALLYSA'S POV

“You're looking so beautiful this morning, I really love your outfit.” Max said, walking up to me with a single white rose as I took it and smiled at him. “Thanks Max, you picked the dress so yeah it ought to look good.” He chuckled and turned to pick Ariel from her stroller.

“Let's hit the road or we're gonna be late for her christening.” O this fateful morning, I wished my mom was here, including granny and Lucas mom. Even if Lucas did something terribly wrong, they deserve to know about their granddaughter and what's going on in her life.

“My family must be searching for me, don't you think so?” I asked, turning to stare at him as he sighed.

“You're missing them?” He asked and I nodded.

“It's difficult staying away from them, I just wish they were here to witness this great day, I really miss them.” He sighed and took me into his embrace.
