I’ve been waking up to Juliet kicking and screaming for almost a week now, and like routine, I wake up and wake her up and calm her down, she falls asleep and wakes up and pretends nothing has happened but today, I’m tired of pretending that this shit isn’t happening so I called Dr Linda, to come and talk to her about what she’s going through.
“You are seeing Linda today and it’s not up for discussion,” I say, placing a cup of coffee in front of her.

“I said it’s not up for discussion, you are having nightmares, every night and I know you haven’t been sleeping either, so YOU. ARE. GOING. TO. SEE. LINDA,” I repeat breaking two eggs into the pan.
I sigh and turn to look at her, “Look, I’m sorry, I’m just worried about you okay.”
She doesn’t say a word, she just nods and I know damn well that I’ve upset her. Time for evasive action.
