57. Fairy-like

Monique could see the resemblance in their face. Perhaps, her sister reincarnated in a body of that half-human, half-fae. Her eyes were like glass, big and it seemed to be shining. Just like Reina’s.

She gently pushed away Caleb and reached for the girl’s hand.

“What’s your name?” Monique asked.

“Solenn. My name is Solenn.” The girl said and placed her hand over Monique’s head. “Your hair is so soft.”

“How old are you Solenn?”

The girl pulled her hand away as she walked around the trail of the pond then she squatted and pointed at the water. She didn’t answer but she stared down at it.

“They said that I was a hundred and fifteen years old. But I don’t remember much since I woke up from a deep slumber.”

Now, that all answers her curiosity.

“This new fish here.” She pointed. “There’s a new fish…” She exclaimed excitedly. “I think they multiplied again.” She said and walked around as she walked under the flowing water like a fall.
