Chapter 23 Not Another Ex?

Things finally calmed down after the whole Shondra and Carly episode. Cage and Addie really bonded over his injury and downtime. Even though she was scared to death over Cage getting hurt, she was glad for them to have had time alone together. They needed to get repair and strengthen their relationship.

Addie was finally ready to give Cage her answer. When he had asked her to be his old lady, she had been shocked and speechless. She knew it was the greatest respect a member could give anyone. All this time, getting to know her father and his club had prepared her to take the next step.

When he first asked her at the lake house, she couldn't respond. It was too soon and her emotions were all over the place. She had asked him for more time since emotions had been high, and all that happened recently to them. He had agreed, just thankful she didn't say no.

They were in the main room where some were talking, some were playing pool or cards. A few were at the bar, and some were just sitti
