(Olivia’s POV)

It wasn’t the kind of decision you planned.

One moment I was pacing the penthouse, trying to make sense of the storm brewing around us. The next, I found myself in Armando’s office, standing in front of his desk with trembling hands.

The tension from our last conversation still sat heavy between us. He’d been gone most of the day, leaving me alone with my thoughts—the worst place to be. His words played on a loop in my head: Stay out of it.

But how could I? Ferro was attacking, Samantha’s name had resurfaced in whispers, and Armando’s silence was like a wall I couldn’t scale. I could do anything to get back at that witch Samantha.

So there I was, staring down at his files. His fortress of neatly labeled folders and encrypted documents.

I told myself I was just looking for clarity, for something to make me feel less like a pawn in whatever game Armando and Ferro were playing. But the moment my fingers brushed against the edges of those papers, I knew I’d crossed a line I

(Olivia’s POV)I sat on the edge of the bed, the events of the past few hours replaying in my mind like a broken record. Ferro’s words, Armando’s confession, the cold efficiency with which he’d rescued me—it all blended into a haze of confusion and exhaustion.I was too drained to cry, too numb to feel anything except the nagging ache in my chest. My phone buzzed on the nightstand, its incessant vibration cutting through the silence.Reluctantly, I picked it up.That’s when the world shifted and my eyes went wide and wild. The message was from an unknown number, a single link accompanied by two words: “Watch this.”I hesitated, my thumb hovering over the screen. Every instinct told me to delete it, to ignore it, but curiosity—or maybe masochism—got the better of me. I clicked. The video began, shaky and grainy at first, like something captured on a hidden camera. But when the image cleared, my stomach dropped. It was me.The footage showed me at a gala weeks ago, leaning into Armando’

(Olivia’s POV)The plan was simple—or at least, Armando made it seem that way.We sat across from each other at the kitchen table, the lights casting sharp shadows across his sharp jaw lin. His jaw was tense, his brow furrowed as he outlined the steps we’d take to dismantle James’s latest stunt.“First, we discredit the video,” he said, his voice low but firm. “Matteo is already working on tracking the source and finding evidence of manipulation. We’ll leak the truth before the media has time to run with the lie.”“And James?” I asked, my arms crossed tightly over my chest.Armando’s eyes darkened. “He won’t get another chance to humiliate you. I’ll make sure of it.” He sounded so confident as he locked eyes with me.I nodded, though my chest still ached with the weight of everything and truly couldn’t believe that James was still bent on ruining me after the betrayal from him, after using and dumbing ne like a piece of trash. “And what about me? (Samantha’s POV)There’s a certain art to betrayal. The trick is to always stay one step ahead, to make people think they’re the ones pulling the strings while you tighten the noose around their necks. That’s what I’d done with James and Armando, manipulating them both while feeding Ferro just enough information to keep him hungry. But the thing about playing with fire is that it burns. And tonight, I was about to get scorched. The meeting was supposed to be routine—another dark, smoky room filled with Ferro’s cronies, another exchange of information that would leave me just a little richer and a little closer to untangling myself from this mess. But the moment I stepped into the room, I knew something was wrong.Ferro was already seated at the head of the table, his sharp suit impeccable, his cold eyes gleaming with something dangerously close to amusement. Beside him, James leaned back in his chair, his arms crossed and his expression unreadable.“Gentlemen,” I said smoothly, stridi

  • Betrayed By The Billionaire Playboy   The Auction of Secrets

(Olivia’s POV)The world Ferro had built was dark and opulent, the kind of place that thrived on shadows and whispered betrayals. The underground auction was held in a private estate on the outskirts of the city, its sprawling grounds guarded by men in sharp suits and sharper eyes. I wasn’t supposed to be here—Armando would lose his mind if he knew—but I couldn’t stay away. Not after hearing about the auction, not when I knew Ferro was selling secrets that could destroy him.The invitation in my hand felt like a betrayal.
