(Armando’s POV)

The night air was dense with tension, the faint scent of smoke and damp earth clinging to my senses as my men and I approached Isabella’s estate after my men gave me the intel that Olivia was here. The quiet was deceptive, the kind that screamed danger, as if the shadows themselves were waiting to strike. I couldn’t get the thought of Olivia off my mind.

“Stay sharp,” I ordered, my voice low but commanding. My grip tightened around my pistol, my eyes scanning every corner for movement.

Then I saw her.

Olivia burst through the front door, her figure illuminated by the pale moonlight. Her breaths were ragged, her dress torn at the hem, and her eyes wild with fear. Behind her, the masked attackers emerged, their steps deliberate, their weapon raised.

Rage ignited in my chest like a flame and seeing Olivia in the state of fear made my blood go boil. I wanted to shred those motherfuckers to pieces.

“Move!” I barke

(Olivia’s POV)The night after the attack at Isabella’s estate was sleepless. The safe house where Armando had taken me was quiet, but my mind was anything but.Dominic had been working tirelessly, sifting through files he’d decrypted from Ferro’s network. He sat hunched over his desk, the glow of multiple monitors illuminating his sharp features.“What is this?” I asked, leaning over his shoulder as he scrolled through an encrypted document. He glanced up, his expression grim. “Your father’s ledgers. Ferro had someone digging into them years ago. These numbers—they’re not just business transactions. There’s something else here.”I frowned, my stomach knotting. My father’s ledgers had been kept in meticulous order, symbols of the integrity he held onto even as the business crumbled around him.“Where are they now?” I asked.Dominic gestured to a file cabinet in the corner. “Armando had them brought in when he acquir

(Dual POV: Olivia and Armando)Olivia’s POVThe safe house felt stifling when I returned after escaping Ferros men, its walls closing in as I spread the documents across the table. My hands trembled as I flipped through them, my mind still reeling from the ambush and the discovery of my mother’s photos. I was in the room alone as I didn’t allow anyone to go through it with me because I didn’t trust anyone yet.The papers were dense, filled with financial jargon and coded references, but I forced myself to focus. Every line, every number, every hidden thread demanded my attention. I had to find the truth. And then I saw it—a series of transactions spanning years, linking Ferro to shell companies and shadow accounts. At first glance, they seemed insignificant, but the deeper I looked, the clearer it became.Ferro hadn’t just benefited from my father’s downfall; he had orchestrated it.The transactions painted a damning picture

  • Betrayed By The Billionaire Playboy   A Dangerous Reunion

(Olivia’s POV)Two Days of SilenceThe safe house had become a cage I’d say.The walls, which were meant to be a symbol of protection, now felt suffocating. Every corner held the memory of Armando—his hot and steamy eyes burning into me as he confessed his love, the pain in his voice as I pushed him away while I wanted his touch.I avoided him as much as I could. He avoided me too and I hated myself for pushing him away and I always hated myself for hating myself or pushing him away. When we crossed paths, the tension was unbearable, the silence heavy with unspoken words and lingering emotions and I always just wished he could grab me, pin me to the wall and give me the kiss of my life.It was late in the afternoon when I heard his voice through the thin walls as I was strolling in the house aimlessly.“I’m telling you, Matteo, Ferro will be there,” Armando said, his tone clipped and intense.“At an auction?” Matteo

(Ferro’s POV)Olivia stood before me, trembling like a drenched little hen that was looking for her mother in the midst of a storm, her defiance crumbling under the weight of her fear. Her green eyes darted between James and me, searching for a way out, but there wasn’t one. Not tonight.I leaned back in my chair, the leather creaking under the weight of my amusement. Beside me, James swirled his glass of whiskey lazily, his smirk widening as he watched her.“You look surprised to see James, Olivia,” I said smoothly, my voice slicing through the silence. “What’s the matter? Did you really think I would discard James like a piece of trash?”Her lips parted, but no words came out.“Oh, you did,” I continued, letting a cold laugh escape. “How deliciously naive of you. But that’s what I wanted, wasn’t it? For you to believe I’d turned on him. For you to trust me.”Her fists clenched, and I could see the flicker of anger beneath her fear. The room was stark, the white walls and sleek furniture a chilling contrast to the suffocating dread curling in my stomach. The last thing I remembered was being dragged out of the auction, my screams echoing uselessly as Ferro’s men threw me into a van and that one time I had wished Armando would appear out of nowhere to rescue me like he always did but then I got nothing and of course he failed me when I needed him. Now, here I was—half-naked, stripped down to my bra and panties, my skin exposed to the biting air. (Celeste’s POV)Ferro’s hideout was as grim as the man himself—cold, industrial, and reeking of blood and steel. The air was heavy with the metallic tang of iron, and the low hum of machinery in the background was a constant reminder of his empire’s ruthlessness.I stepped into the main chamber, my heels clicking against the concrete floor, the sound echoing ominously. Ferro was seated at a long metal table, a glass of scotch in one hand, his other casually drumming against the surface. His sharp eyes followed me as I approached, their glint as calculating as always.“Celeste,” he greeted, his voice smooth but wary. “To what do I owe the pleasure again?”I smiled sweetly, taking the seat opposite him. “Business, of course. I thought it was time we discussed our mutual interests.”He raised an eyebrow, swirling the amber liquid in his glass. “And what might those be?”“Olivia Pierce,” I said, my voice dipping into a dangerous
