Rylan's POV

The sun was barely up when I rose from my very rest. My body felt sore, aching from the battle, but there was no time to relax. My men had already started getting about the day, wounds were tended to and there were preparations for food for the very Young ones. I could hear them talking quietly, their voices tired, but grateful we had survived and this time with just six injured men and all the kids and women safe.

I walked across the camp, my eyes scanning the area. It was hard to ignore the tension that still lingered. Even though the battle was over, it felt like things were only getting started.

I knew I had to speak with Raphael, the vampire leader who had come with Damian. I wasn’t sure what I wanted from him, but I couldn’t let them stay here without knowing where they stood. Damian had already made his move by allowing them to join his forces, but I wasn’t about to let them hang around if they were only loyal to him.

I approached their side of the camp, where Ra

Rylan's POVThe camp was quieter than usual that morning. We had been here for days, still unsure of what to do. Damian had not moved again, and his men seemed content to stay where they were. The tension between us was thick, the kind you could almost touch, but no one spoke about it openly. We didn’t want to slit each other’s throats, but we didn’t exactly want peace either.Lyra was still keeping to herself. She hadn’t come near me, nor had she gone to Damian. She stayed close to Olivia most of the time, keeping her distance from everyone else. It was hard to know what she was thinking. I wanted to talk to her, to understand where her head was, but I couldn’t make sense of her silence. It was frustrating, but I wasn’t going to push her. Not yet.I was standing at the head of the camp when Caspian approached me, his face serious.“Rylan,” he said quietly, pulling me to my feet. “We have a problem.”I followed him to a quieter part of the camp, away from the others, my eyes scanning

Lyra's POVI mostly kept to myself now. I didn't want to catch Damian's eyes again. Whether I admitted it or notz looking at him made me reconsider the idea of taking revenge on him.Perhaps, I'd just been covering up with the excuse that he was the father of my unborn kids and for that reason, I could never hurt him.I sat in my tent, listening to the sounds of laughter and singing outside. The rogues were celebrating tonight, one of their many ceremonies to honor the Moon Goddess. It was my first time seeing such an event. Back in the Blood Nest Pack, celebrations were formal and quiet, led by the older ones of the pack. There was never room for the Young ones to fully belong. But here, it was different. The rogues danced, sang, and shared stories around a large fire in the center of the camp. They totally neglected the fact that Damian, an enemy was just camping close.I hesitated to join them. I wasn’t sure if I belonged. My mind wandered to my unborn children. They were the only

Rylan's POVThe celebration of special gifts from the moon goddess was one of the few things that the rogues looked forward to and it didn't matter when it was to hold, they always ensured it happended. I'd left organizing it to those who really did have special gifts, especially those who had helped the pack in the past with their unique powers. It was always held each year and I appreciated them for upholding the culture.Last night, I'd seen the lady call Lyra to come to the circle and I'd seen how the power from her had been displayed, shocking even her.The others had believed that she was powerful and they wanted her to stay in the pack because her powers would lead us and also help us in the future like theirs had done.I'd been watching from where I stood and I saw the confusion on Lyra's face as she left the crowd. She'd been startled upon seeing me. But she'd also been relieved when she learned that I didn't pay attention to a lot of superstition around us.The camp was quie

Damian's POVThe road back to the Blood Nest Pack felt longer than I remembered. The air was heavy, filled with tension that pressed down on me and my men. Nobody spoke as we walked, our footsteps steady but cautious. Each step felt like a reminder of what I had lost and what I intended to take back.I couldn’t stop thinking about the report from the messenger. “She’s calling herself the new ruler or the pack,” he had said. “She’s tightened security and taken full control. She tells them that you abandoned the pack to chase after your selfish desires l.” The words echoed in my mind, making my blood boil.Eloisa. Weak, scheming Eloisa, had claimed my pack, my position. She had no right. None of this belonged to her. She was nothing without me, and now she dared to take what was mine. She was supposed to be next to me and only speak when I gave the order for her to speak and act when I wanted her to act.I clenched my fists, trying to keep my anger in check. “We’ll take back the pack an

Eloisa's POVThe noise outside grew louder. I stood by the window, peeking through the curtains. Damian's men were advancing, their movements calculated and precise. My guards were faltering, surrendering one by one. My chest tightened as I realized it was only a matter of time before Damian made it to the pack house.I turned to the guards standing inside with me. “Leave,” I said sharply. One of them hesitated. “But Luna—”“Go,” I snapped, my voice firm. “You must not be here when Damian arrives. I need to handle this alone.”Reluctantly, they nodded and left. The heavy door closed behind them, leaving me in the silence of the grand hall. I adjusted my dress, smoothing the fabric, and sat down on the edge of the table. My mind was a mess. A part of me feared for the worst. What if he came in and didn't give me audience that I needed?I took a deep breath, hoping the men I'd just dismissed would leave the pack house in time so they would not be found heavily armed as they were by Dami

Damian's POVThe Blood Nest pack had a new feeling now but the weight of familiarity settled on me like an old cloak. The scent of the woods and the crispness of the air were the same, but something about the place felt off. It wasn’t the walls or the structures, but the atmosphere. The pack felt... different.I couldn’t put my finger on it at first, but as I walked further, it became clearer. My pack wasn’t the same as when I left it. It didn't matter that the men had surrendered. It didn't matter that they had now come back to their senses, something still felt off.The guards stood rigid, their eyes cautious, as though unsure of their loyalty. The pack members moved about, but there was a stiffness to their actions, a hesitation that hadn’t been there before.Eloisa was waiting for me in the courtyard. She had the same confident stance I had grown used to, but her eyes told a different story. They flickered with urgency, almost desperation. I hadn't had time to digest her story the

Lyra's POVI knew Damian wouldn’t give up so easily. He was stubborn, always needing things to go his way. Even when I left the Blood Nest Pack, I knew he wouldn’t just let me go. But I didn’t care. I had my reasons for leaving, and I wasn’t going to let him control me again. It had been peaceful in the camp, but I always felt like something was coming. Rylan had been extra cautious, keeping guards near my tent and around the camp. He said it was to keep me and the others safe, but I knew he was worried about Damian. He wouldn’t admit it, but I could see it in his eyes. The fact that Damian had just packed up and left even before he had the time to speak with me and try to convince me to go with him was a little puzzling. I'd been keeping my distance from his camp and from Rylan but after he'd left with his folks, I'd gone to Rylan to ask if there was something they had probably agreed to that I didn't know of which had led Damian to leave. Then, one evening, one of the rogues came ru

Lyra's POVThe event of the past two days had left me a little shaken. Knowing that Damian was not giving up the chase for me was as sickening as it was annoying. I couldn't go to the Blood Nest pack for any reason. Not even to give him a stern warning to leave me alone.“That'd be the dumbest move ever,” Snow said with a small chuckle. I sighed. Of course I knew it was dumb and that was exactly why I wasn't going to be doing it. It was pointless anyway. He already knew my stance. He knew I didn't want to come back to the Blood Nest pack.Olivia was sitting across from me, her eyes filled with curiosity. She had always been the one to ask questions, to dig into things, even when I didn’t want to talk about them. She had a way to learn things. It helped me feel relieved. Each time I spoke to her, I felt like some of my troubles simply dissipated.“Why does Alpha Damian want you back so badly?” she asked, tilting her head.I sighed, running my fingers through my hair. Rylan’s POVThe sky was darkening when Damian and his men arrived at the WhiteMoon pack. I was already waiting by the gates, watching them walk toward me. There was no fanfare, no noise, just the solid sound of their boots hitting the dirt. Damian moved with purpose, as he always did since I'd grown familiar with him. His eyes scanned the surroundings, taking everything in like he had to make sure everything was in place. He had been gone for some time. Now, he was back.He stopped in front of me, his gaze steady as always. “It’s done,” he said.I nodded. I knew what that meant. “Kaius?”“Dead,” Damian said without hesitation. “Ilena poisoned him. She tried to take control of the Blood Nest. She failed.”I didn’t need to ask what had happened to her. I already knew. It wasn’t hard to figure out. “And the pack?” I asked.“Secured,” Damian replied. “The traitors are gone. The loyal ones remain.”I took a breath and glanced around. The WhiteMoon pack was in better shape than I thought it

  • Betrayed By The Alpha ~ Claimed By The Rogue   Chapter 141

Lyra’s POVThe WhiteMoon pack was only just beginning to get past the chaos of war. The battle was over, but the scars it left behind still lingered. The dead had been buried, the wounded tended to, and the pack was trying to move forward, but the unease was still there. A shadow of what had been lost. And yet, there was one thing left unfinished—one loose end that needed to be dealt with.Eloisa.I didn't think I wanted to have her executed, despite all she'd done to me and what she'd tried to do to my babies. She was someone I'd loved but who had also turned around to hate me with all her might. Damian wanted her dead so she would not cause any more harm, Rylan said it was completely up to me to do whatever I wanted to do with her since I was the one who had defeated her anyway. My softness was getting the best of me. I didn't want to hurt Eloisa, the knowledge of what she'd tried to do to me didn't change this either. The moment I could, I made my way to the pack dungeons. • Betrayed By The Alpha ~ Claimed By The Rogue   Chapter 140

Damian's POVThe journey back to the Blood Nest pack felt like it took forever. My mind was clouded with thoughts of everything that had transpired. The battle at WhiteMoon had been brutal, but we had won. Lyra had proven herself time and time again, and the victory was ours. Still, there was a gnawing feeling in my gut, the knowledge that things were not yet over. The fight for power and control had only just begun. When we finally arrived at the Blood Nest pack, I felt the tension in the air. There was a heaviness in the atmosphere, a thick sense of uncertainty hanging over everything. My pack had been through so much in the last few days, and now, with me back at the helm, there was no time to rest. I needed to find out what had happened in my absence, and I needed answers, fast.I had no idea what I was about to walk into.As soon as I entered the pack house, I was met by one of my most trusted men. His face was grim, his posture stiff with the weight of the news he had to deliver

  • Betrayed By The Alpha ~ Claimed By The Rogue   Chapter 139

Rylan's POVThe battle was over. The dust had settled, but the air still carried the heavy scent of blood, sweat, and destruction. The WhiteMoon pack was battered and bruised, but they were alive. And that, at least, was something to hold onto. We had won, but at what cost? The warriors were all tired, their faces painted with exhaustion, their wounds still fresh. The camp was in disarray, but we had managed to push the enemy back.I found myself walking along the outskirts of the camp with Caspian and Finn. The battlefield felt quieter now, the distant sounds of the survivors tending to their injured and picking up the pieces of what was left. The weight of the day sat heavy on my shoulders. The fight had been brutal, and while I was glad it was over, it didn’t feel like a victory just yet. The aftermath was always the hardest part.Damian had gone back to the Blood Nest pack to reclaim his position as Alpha. There was no question about it. Kaius had taken control while Damian was go

Damian's POVThe fight had ended, but the air was thick with tension. Blood, sweat, and dirt mixed together, leaving the battlefield in a grim haze. The clashing of weapons had died down, and the warriors around me began to gather, taking stock of what was left. The battle was won, but it wasn’t over yet.Eloisa lay on the ground, her wolf form battered and bruised but not defeated entirely. She wasn’t dead. She wasn’t going to die—not by my hand, not by Lyra’s. But she had lost. Her fortification had crumbled, and her strength had faltered under the weight of Lyra’s relentless defense. Still, she lay there, struggling to breathe, her gaze fixed on us with a defiant hatred.I stood beside Lyra, watching her. She had been the one to bring down Eloisa, the one to push her to the edge. But Lyra had stopped short. She didn’t want to kill Eloisa. As much as Eloisa had tried to destroy us, to destroy her, Lyra had shown mercy."Don’t," Lyra said, her voice steady. "We don’t need to kill her

  • Betrayed By The Alpha ~ Claimed By The Rogue   Chapter 137

Lyra’s POVThe battle raged on around me. I could hear the clash of swords, the roar of warriors, and the sounds of werewolves fighting for their lives. But it was all distant noise. I wasn’t focused on the battle around me; my attention was fixed on one thing—the one thing that mattered more than anything right now.Damian.I had sneaked out of the safety of the pack house, determined to be where the fight was. A guard had tried to stop me, insisted that I stay hidden, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t just stand back and wait while the people I cared about fought. I needed to be there. But then, I saw her. Eloisa. The sight of me stopped Eloisa in her tracks.Eloisa was in her wolf form, her body was unusually large and fortified with the power she had gained through her twisted ways. I could see the raw strength emanating from her, and it was clear that she wasn’t just fighting to win. She was fighting to break Damian. Eloisa was more than just a rival. She was a woman bent on destro

  • Betrayed By The Alpha ~ Claimed By The Rogue   Chapter 136

Damian’s POVThe battlefield was madness. The air was thick with the scent of blood, sweat, and death. Wolves lunged at each other, claws tearing through flesh, growls and screams blending together. The sound of steel meeting steel rang out as warriors fought with everything they had. The ground beneath us was already stained red, bodies littering the area.I fought my way through the chaos, blade in hand, striking down anyone who dared to stand in my path. My wolf snarled within me, pushing me forward, demanding vengeance. Rylan fought beside me, moving with the same deadly focus. We had battled side by side before, but this time, it was different. We weren’t just fighting an enemy—we were fighting our own.Something was wrong.I could see it in the way some of the WhiteMoon warriors moved. Their attacks were slower than usual, hesitant, as if they weren’t truly trying to kill. Otmes barely lifted their weapons, stepping back instead of forward. And then tmee were the ones who did no

Rylan's POVThe battlefield was a scene of pure chaos. The air smelled thick with blood and smoke. Wolves fought, teeth bared, fur flying. The sound of swords clashing with flesh echoed around me, drowning out all but the screams and roars. The earth was soaked with blood, and bodies littered the ground in every direction. I could hear the growls of shifting wolves, mixed with the clash of steel, the air alive with tension and fury.I moved quickly through the battle, my feet light but my strikes deadly. My blade cut through the enemies with the precision of a wolf on the hunt. My body felt alive with adrenaline, muscles coiling and releasing in perfect rhythm as I fought beside Damian. His movements were just as fluid, just as fast. We were a team, working together like we had done so many times before. But despite the intensity of the battle, something didn’t sit right.I noticed it immediately—the hesitation in the movements of some of the WhiteMoon warriors. Eloisa's POV The battlefield was exactly as I had imagined—chaotic, brutal, and perfect for my victory. The scent of blood and sweat filled the air, thick and intoxicating. The ground trembled beneath the weight of charging warriors, their roars mixing with the clash of steel and the growls of shifting wolves. It was a beautiful sight—one I had long waited for. From my position on the hill, I could see everything. My forces, my carefully trained warriors, moved with purpose, cutting down those who stood against me. Their strikes were swift, precise, efficient. Every blade that sank into enemy flesh was a step closer to my rightful place.I had planned this well.I had spent months planting the seeds of doubt, whispering truths and lies into the ears of the weak-minded within the WhiteMoon pack. And now, those whispers bore fruit. The hesitation in the steps of some warriors, the uncertainty in their eyes—I saw it all. Some barely lifted their weapons, while others stepped back from t
