I had borrowed a jeep used by the pack rather than taking my SUV into the forest to camp. As much as I’m sure it could handle the terrain, I don't want to get my SUV dirty when I can use one of the jeeps specifically for this. It was exhilarating riding on Irving’s back. And unlike last time, we aren’t rushing off to danger. This time there is no one trying to kill anyone. It’s just us out here in nature. In the two months since the new moon, life has become what I will call the new normal.
