Casey’s POV

I keep repeating what the Alpha said in my head. Twin souls… He said Carlos and I are twin souls, that our fates have been decided.

Still, I don’t get it. I have never heard of it my entire life. I am an outsider in this world, how could I know what the hell that even means?

Groaning, I toss and turn in my bed, dreading the time when I would eventually have to get up, take a shower, and face Carlos, my mate, once more.

Who even decides this?

I sigh, closing and opening my eyes every other second. Sighing for the nth time, I sit up on the bed, crossing my legs in front of me when a knock on the door has me snapping my eyes up.

“Come in,”

I wonder who’d come knocking on my door at this time of night?

I slowly felt my body relax when I see Danny walk in, closing the door behind him.

“Danny,” I furrow my brows and shift in my seat.

He spins around before walking towards the edge of my bed. He looks down at it before asking,
