CHAPTER NINE

Casey’s POV

“You’re pregnant!” I beam at her, a wide smile spreading on my face.

Evvie glanced down at her belly for a second before smiling back up at me.

“How far along are you?” I asked.

“Around four months,” she shrugs, “Come on, let’s get you inside,” She ushered and I nod, following her into the same mansion she called ‘pack house’. It made sense, since the house was literally big enough to fit a whole pack. Though I’m not sure how many they are here. From the number of people I passed before getting here, I lost count.

“Oh, this is…?” Evvie moved her gaze from me to Danny.

“Oh, he’s my uncle, Danny,” I introduced him, nudging him with my elbow when he stood stiffly, looking all gruff. I rolled my eyes when he gave me a pointed look but was instantly relieved he extended out his hand to her.

“Pleasure to meet you, luna”

Evvie smiles politely at him and shakes his hand.

“Come, have a seat,” she ushered us all in and we all take a seat in the spacious living room whic
