CHAPTER 82 - FINALLY A CHEF?

Avery's POV

“What rubbish did she put together, is it even going to be edible? Looks pretty but will it taste decent at least?” The whispers continued, all the chefs were critiquing my work, I hadn't even served it for tasting but everyone had an opinion about it, some liked it, some didn't, it scented really nice and looked nice too but the taste was what would determine if I got the job or not.

“Quiet everyone, we will all take turns tasting the food Avery has made and come to a conclusion after that,” Jake said, as the head chef, I thought he was the one who tasted the food to determine if I was employed or not but letting everyone taste it was a different ball game all together and for some reason it made me even more nervous.
